[SYD] A Night Of Trance vs Frantic - Friday May 6th

On Friday May 6th the elite will be decided and clubbing history will be made. As for one night only two of Sydney's clubbing giants go head to head in the battle of the century.

A Night Of Trance vs Frantic

This will be an event of epic proportions and absolute solid mayhem as each team attacks for the ultimate victory, you must decide which team your on?

Team Hard (Frantic):

Ian Betts (Direct from the UK!)
Micky D
Chia
Paul Doran
James Loader
Krazy Joe

Team Uplifting (A Night Of Trance):

Josh van Aalst (Electric)
Karvan n Condivi (LIVE)
Stama
Marishka
Jayde
Rob Noble

As the blood thickens and the pressure mounts Frantic are drawing on their most powerful weapon yet. Its the introduction of their newest and most possibly greatest resident. International DJ and producer Ian Betts.

Direct from the UK Ian is an exclusive resident at Londons Heat UK promotion. His success has placed him in front of crowds of over 10,000 people, which has seen him play alongside major internationals including Tiesto and The Thrillseekers. Ians sought after sound and energetic performance has landed him sets at some of the most influential events in the world. Alongside Armin Van Buuren Ian performed at Creams opening party at Amnesia in Ibiza and in between Taul Paul and Eddie Halliwell at Heat NYE.

For such a fresh presence in the industry Ian Betts is becoming one of the hottest names in Europe After 14 years in dance music I have seen some amazing DJ's, so to make an impression on me these days is quite a task, but I think Ian Betts is probably the most exciting DJ around and a formidable talent Nolan Shadbolt, The 2004 Trance Awards @ Slinky

When: Friday May 6th
Where: ARQ, 16 Flinders St (Right on Taylor Square)
Time: 10pm till extremely late

Also to Ian Betts production of Love Resurection is extremely fluffy.

Ian Betts is a wicked dj. Saw him play @ Amnesia as part of a Heat tour and he was the nuts.

Suprised to see him billed as a guest "frantic" dj though, when he is in fact resident for Heat in London. The power of brand marketing!

Wish i lived in Sydney with events such as this.

the nerve of me! I actually thought ANOT could not possibly 'push the boundaries' any further than the last performace, THINK AGAIN SID

Well here it is! G-I-JOSH ('artist' formely known as mirror man) returns with his ever so wonderful 'endorsement' of yet another ANOT production. After the overwhelming success of ANOT@Space, our favourite night returns to its 'spiritual homeland' ARQ (geez I missed those topless steroids dishing out some sucky-sucky). However this time, club promoting sensation Frantic (yes we know they're your favourite label too) joins forces, in what promises to be the 'hardest' and 'happiest' club night this city has ever seen.

As if the fate of the world depended on it Team Uplifting (cant wait for some 'secret meetings') headed by G-I-JOSH faces its greatest battle yet, in the form of Team Hard. Not only will you hear those uplifting, super-dooper, euphoric, ecstatic, vocal, anthem tunes we so closely with only the finest grated cheese, but the hardest of hard hitting jack hammers, which will most certainly ensure a first degree migraine, on top of that already extremely sore ass. Representatives from each team, will be under strict guidelines (much like our friend Mr Helstrip, who was instructed to play anthems) to make certain the battle goes as planned, as any fault will only be dealt with in the harshest possible manner by the 'head' commando G-I-JOSH.

So slap on those butterfly wings, bash yourself sensless with a hammer and most importantly, lube that pretty backside up for the latest 'josh and friends production' as we prepare for battle, in this seemingly never ending array of 'batties'.

I thought you'd go to town with this one. I was more worried you'd point out something like Team Hard vs Team Soft and of course the battles that would ensue at ARQ between Team hard and Team soft.

oh well ofcourse the 'battle' between Team Uplifting and Team Hard will be the focal point of much 'excitement' throughout the night. I mean lets face it, not since the glory days of Ruby (much to my suprise, actually represents Sydney's 'happy' community) will there be so much 'stimulation' at ARQ. Team Uplifting providing only the 'latest' tunes with Fly Away, Communication and Silence and Team Hard dishing out what most construction workers would describe as the closest noise to describe their jack-hammers, will have the punters flocking by their thousands (bring on those shirtless honies) not to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to experince such jovial listening pleasure (maybe if you're deaf and dumb, and play school music arouses you).

What an innovation by G-I-JOSH! no longer do we have individual versus battles, but actual Teams to bombard us with the same monotonous tracks weve been hearing since the founding of this wonderful 'enterprise'. Teams will soon expand into armies, and before you know it, the entire world will be under the complete reign of G-I-JOSH with his matching tight black shirt and ear piece (oh how we get caught up in fantasy). Soon 'Fly away' will be incorpotated as the national anthem for all nations, as G-I-JOSH embarks on his muscial imperial crusade to rid the world of any anything which doesn't conform to his bland of 'happiness'.

Strape yourself up, and prepare for one of the greatest battles in human history, one which is sure to cause significant 'pain' to all those foolish enough to attend.
