Houndreds escape a caving in roof as DJ Kai Tracid did his thing at Webster Hall. The club is now just a pile of rubbish, no one was hurt only pissed since they only got to hear 2 hours of Kai

i WILL be there, even tho i checked some of his latest sets, theyre nothing special... but its not something to be missed

this is actually a big fking deal. kai probably doesn't realize where he's spinning...


anyway...kai tracid is amazing. so, webster hall or not, i might have to go...

i know every1 likes to hate but i heard nothing but good things about Cosmic Gate @ Webster Hall party, not to mention the sound, the lights, and the venue itself... its sad how prog DJs get like 23182039 pages of replies on this site and yet hard trance DJs (trance, people, trance) get 1, even tho these are some of the pioneers of the music.... CANT WAIT, ill be there, maybe after seeing Marco V @ Avalon, bc i love Marco V!!

I feel you on this issue. Mostly because I spin the techyer/harder side of trance. Try getting gig spinning that Fogettaboutit!! Anywho prog is boring and lame. Its the soft rock station of radio stations. No real opinion or influence. Its the evil step child of house music. People love to hate on the harder stuff but probably never really experienced it. Like you mention its trance but people act like your saying Hard River dance. Not to mention its really not as hard as people think. Cosmic Gate playlist include many tracks from the likes of AVB,PVD, Ferry, but since hes labled "Hard" they get no love.

People need to experience shit first before talking shit!!!

Im pretty sure I'll be there since I'll most likely not be doing anything. Hopefully the bouncers aren't dicks like they were @ Cosmic.
About the club, i dont think its that bad like everyone says, yea the other rooms are shitty, but if there is a bigname DJ there, its all good and the lights were pretty damn awesome @ Cosmic. So they should be just as good at these future events, and the crowd was fine for me.

i see it as the opposite way.... on Trance Addict, it seems like some1 like SANDER KLEINENBERG or a million other progressive house DJs (and prog trance too) get more recognition and respect, whereas, when THE Cosmic Gate rolls into town and theres 2 posts about it, ppl are saying "stop spamming" as if its some no name trying to promote his party.... theres millions of pages of replies on posts about Danny Howells or Sander Kleinenberg or Danny Tenaglia, and yet, legends of trance like Cosmic Gate and Derb and Kai Tracid have like 5 people that reply and 5 people that say "i'd go if it werent Webster Hall", what is that??? ill admit that i love Danny Tenaglia and Sander Kleinenberg, but shit, when are u gunna see Derb or Kai Tracid again.... Sander and DT will always always always be back.

Hmmmm....... wow I've always wanted to see Kai but umm.... maybe I'll wait for a different opportunity?

hey man i agree with you i thought the cosmic gate show was great ..johan is playing this week and ill be there ...thi smay just be the new friday night hard trance spot ...i like dthe crowd in the main room and there were lots of hot girls with great music and production in th eheart of th eeast village ..hello people what more do we want....kai tracid scot project brooklyn bounce cosmic gate derb, somebody is doing somthing right...2005 may be the year the hard shit hits nyc ..extra hard//
