Read This! Layman's terms or Laymen's terms? (pointless thread #8546427)

"Layman's terms" or "Laymen's terms"

Anyone know which is the correct spelling of the above?

I'm currently doing up a resume, call it paranoia but I don't want to seem like an illiterate fuck (more than I already am).

Google wasn't much help.

Thanks.

layman

edit: looks like it depends on the context, although I've always assumed it's the singular form...i.e. any layman could understand it.
