LIFE IS GREAT (gotta get something off my chest)
some 2 months ago i felt a bump in my right testicle and since then my life was really shitty cause i was thinking that the worst thing has happened to me. since then i was really nervous, i was yelling at everybody, i stopped going out just sitting home and not talking to almost anybody. when i did go out i could only think about this so it was really not so much fun. sometimes i would pull myself from it and i would be ok for a bit but then dark toughts would come back and i would cut off anybody away from me. and all this time i was really afraid, never before in my life was i so afraid, so scared that i couldnt go to the doctor and check myself out (i know, i know, im stupid scaredy ass).
and then i couldnt take it anymore, i took some time off work and went to see a doctor and i was sent to do some tests and was told that they'll have results sometime this week. they called yesturday but since nobody was home i had no idea what the fuck is going on. so this morning right after work i went to my doctor, and waiting in that room for 10 minutes was prolly longest 10 minutes in my life, i wanted to run away, i was scared shitless. then she walked in with a paper in her hand and read something and i swear to God i did not hear one word, i was somewhere else, really really scared. but when she smiled, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY FUCK...... it was just a cyst (sp?), and she said its normal and i shouldnt do anything about it.
i kissed her so many times, i ran outside, yelled a lot and since then i have one of the biggest grins on my face, EVER.
i saw how fragile we humans are tru this crisis of mine and now i see life with totally different eyes.
and now i'll cherish and enjoy every day of my life even more than i did before, i wont let all my gifts and knowledge go to waste like i've been doing till now.
im a different man now
LIFE IS GREAT
WHOHOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOHOOOOOOOOO
Congrats hon! That is excellent news to be grateful for!
*Alfie flashbacks*
Good stuff man! Really happy to hear you're ok
Keep yourself healthy from now on, no slacking around! It's funny how moments like these really make you appreciate things
Very Nice...
Now the secret is to always remember this day, this minute, this euphoria you are feeling....Too many times after something like this we can be 'changed' for a little while, but get back into the same routine and slowly lose the gift that we have been given.
I have a very similiar take on life. To be honest, I shouldn't even be here at all. With some of the insanity that I have put myself in over the years, I have had many friends pass away, and I really should be gone myself.
I always thought that 30 was my limit. The way I was living in my 20's, I wouldn't have made it to 30.
I am older than 30 now, when for so many years I couldn't even think past that number.
So every morning when I wake up, it is a good day! Every day is just icing on the cake because I know that logic says that I would never have made 30, let alone made 30 with some semblence of intellect.
Every day is a blessing. Every person you meet, you can affect them in a positive or negative manner....I choose to try and affect people in a postive manner today. I know that every 'problem' I have today, is just a learning experience...and most of these said 'problems' are in areas where I used to not have areas...so the base issue "I get what I need today, and that is not necessarily what I want" holds true....
XM, you have been given this gift. You can squander it and in a couple of months not really remember what you are feeling today, or you can cherish it and let it mature and let it change and lift you on a daily basis for the rest of your life...The choice is yours..
So speaketh the poet on the lawn chair.
congrats
btw, you got your testicles checked by an (old?) female doc? heh

Thanks for sharing XM. Congrats on your bill of health and congrats on the gift of life appreciation you now have!
scary stuff .. good thing it turned out for the better !
Stories like this inspire me, man.
We should always live everyday like its our last.
It so easy to work like a emotionless lemming, watch your reality tv show and go to bed.
Death to me sounds more interesting than that.
Good for you bro, may you have a billion more orgasms.
Great to hear Xavier
Glad to hear you're ok man.
My uncle back in Croatia had the same thing happen to him about a year ago, except it actually turned out to be cancer. He was quite a wreck for a while, but fortunately it was operable, and he's doing much better now. I can't imagine what kind of stress it would be to wait for results of tests like that. Hopefully I'll never have to face it.
nice!
nice!
That's awesome. Life kicks ass.
true story:
I was the same way when I thought I had chlamydia.. turned out to be a bladder infection.

awww Mickey!!
Glad everything is A O KAY!

One of my friends just had surgery last week to have one of his boys removed. They weren't sure if it was cancerous or just a build up of scar tissue from an injury, so you're lucky!
Glad to hear your good news has made you so happy!
Happy happy joy joy...
I'm soooo glad this has come out good for you. And it's fantastic to hear that someone has found the same path I have.
Now everytime life kicks you....I know you'll remember this and feel happy to be around
Always keep striving for the positives and only good things will fall on you lap....just remember not to sweat the little stuff anymore, alright
Peace
