Just curious if this is the best synth now for trance?

I am drooling over the apparent features but is it really that impressive?

I guess that you have watched the visual demo, this thing tears the house down.

There's no such thing as "best for trance". But yeah, the thing is pretty hardcore...I'll probably get me one if I find sometime to produce.

I think you are offensive here. Rico has great pieces of hardware and I have already listened some samples from him and I respect him.

And, my godness, supersaw doesn't mean TRANCE, only the trance producers abused from it, but supersaw is very used to make analog string/pad for chill-out and ambient music, not only the fucking Rank-1 style very abused supertring! I love it, but it's time to think on another sound for trance!

lol, I am so sick of people wanking on about rank1/supersaw/cygnus-x. No wonder trance is getting so formulaic these days. Yes, it is a good sound, but trance was around loooong before anyone dialed up a detuned saw.

The demos sound great. It sounds like a great sound design tool.

That looks the bee's knees, the possibilities for creation of sound are endless!

The TI looks kewl. I like the fact that you can run a hardware synth through vst fx channels. And the fact that you can just mixdown the audio straight through the usb. It just sounds too easy to pass up... I'm definately getting one when the prices come down a bit. Its going to force other synth makers to follow suit too...

nope , could probably get away wit using it in sum form of breakz (not trancish breakz nessasarly) aswell as chillout n ambient. Quite a shit post there tbh, was offensive n just showed ur very closed minded on the unit.

Maybe you didn't read that I wrote that maybe I'll get it if I can find time to produce. Be in the Army in a National Security unit and see if you'll have time to even smile at your toys. When I post here, I'm always at work. Blessed you are to have time to produce...I wish I had 5 years of my life to devote it to production and things I like. And with you little "music ricer" comment about the hypersaw, the saw doesn't make or mean trance. Trance was up way before that overrated sound. sonic_akb, thanks for the back-up, brother.

I was not talking about supersaw btw....I was talking about the "Hypersaw" featured on the Ti.

I persobnally own the Ti and KNOW this synth is made for trance/hardtrance...supersaw/hypersaw, bass, pads etc...

This synth rocks and it will be with me till the day I die, but hey this is only an opinion of a producer with 5 years experiance.

Oh yeah, my wallet and me are definately braced for it *evil laugh*. But I'm not sure of spending $2,500 on a piece of hardware that's gonna collect dust along the rest of my gear. I REALLY hope somebody from here gets one soon and starts putting massive mileage on the thing...I really want to hear tracks made with it. *hurray*

Accepted. My post meant that there's no "best" synth for trance. You can beat on a pan, record it and make better tracks that somebody that uses percussion samples from great sample CDs. Same with synths...that was my point...I wasn't discrediting the machine.

Hey Rico....do you use cubase sx for your productions ??

If you do I'll PM u a crazy supersaw preset (with fx) in cubase format, made with an under-rated vsti (the Superwave P8) Its not what you've got......but what you do with it !!

Yep, I use SX 3. Yeah, man, send it in...I wouldn't mind playing with a Supersaw. I would go to bed late tonight to try your preset...I used to use that VSTi and programmed some great sounds out of it...very underrated synthie.

Pappa, I was on about the superwave P8 vsti, but this under-rated piece of software which is free btw kicks the JP-80xx's ass for supersaws (with the right fx), but not the Ti's tho...... this is a fuckin beast !!!
