Molson Kick Launch @ Lucid last night Apr 5
I went to Lucid what was supposed to be for free beer and food. An invite only event but by the time I got there was a massive line. The entire club from the 1st floor to the 4th floor was rammed. I couldn't even get a free beer which they stopped after the first few hundred people. Molson Kick doesn't even come in a bottle. The shit is in a can shaped like bottle. Its has guarana??(energy drink ingredient) in it and it tastes like shit. I will never 1, goto a Molson event and 2 I will never buy that beer ever again. There was also a surprise guest Some 41 that performed but who cares. The venue was jammed to the max. I doubt its ever been that jammed before.
Well there you go, there is my ranting from last night.
Sounds typical

There were but the mature ones left early and the classic clubber girls were there until the end. There was a big industry crowd there last night to. So you could have seen all your favourite bartenders.

It sounds like pretty much every industry party really. I went to the Smirnoff party last summer at the docks, and the place was absolutely packed. My uncle owns a bar, so instead of spending money on booze Id just bug him for tokens for freebies, but I have never seen the place so pakced in my life.
It was right after they got their new system in, I was leaning against the speaker the whole night. My ears didnt stop ringing for like 4 days.
docks > lucid
got stuck at lucid for new years... never again people, never again.
Tastes good. Will drink again. A++++++++

Molson Kick comes in 355ml aluminium cans, 355ml aluminium bottles (at bars and clubs ONLY) and in 341ml glass bottles.
Oh ok so to avoid fighting with broken bottles in clubs they will distribute the canned ones in there...got it! Guv doesn't have any glass bottles either

Hmmmm I usually find that drinks from cans and bottles end up tasting somewhat differently. For example...Pepsi or coke in a bottle (to me at least) tastes different, and better, than the same drink in a can. Same with beer usually. Can gives it some kind of a taste...or maybe it's the bottle that does...
