Re: The air force

I bet if someone was very interested in NASA, they wouldn't have another option.

Or would they?

CoastGaurd : Gay
Airforce: Pussies
Army: mixture of the unguided, unwashed, simpleton masses whove been forced by life to join something. Good equipment, however.
Marines: Ohhrahhh do or die gun fodder idiots. get the shit end of the stick on funding and equipment.
Navy: Lazy bitches

Did I miss anything?

army ranger would be fun. i know a guy that was in one of the blackhawks during the iran hostage crisis, he was a sniper. now he has a radio talk show. man, it i guess it can be hard to readjust.

Yeah I only know 1 guy who is one and hes having marriage issues. Mainly cuz his wifes a bitch though. he was in Iraq for a year and walks home , bag still in hand, and she says "take care of the fucking kid im sick of it" and stalks off.

He got offered green beret training for field *surgeon* so he might just ditch the bitch and do that. Its a tough life...pretty lonely.

Well, your secrecy aside, I can't think of a better place for an SSBN to be stationed ... except for maybe the sea of Japan. But since you're out of norfolk, I would guesstimate the friendly seas of the baltic or the Mediterranean to be your new home.

Orbax I only have a short bit of advice for you. If you're trying out to be in our Rangers. Don't injure yourself in training..

Thats it

Just don't get injured..

Most of the guys I know who wash out are injured from stupid mistakes during week 2

Sleep deprivation and whatnot..

Other than that just use your noggin and know how to work in teams. If you're not a team player then go do something else and stay out of the Army.

Its not easy in the slightest, and just because a person is strong doesn't mean shit.

IMO you should go 11B first and do two years with your unit until you've got a good idea on how things work in the Army. Then if you think you like it request Ranger School.

If you do that make sure you get Airborne in your contract so you don't have that against you when putting in your 4187 for Ranger School.

Saying you want to be a Ranger and then actually going through it and making it are two different things. Just don't talk shit and never do it saying "I could have made it.." Thats extremely lame and the soldiers around me that say that I want to break their legs.

Oh, and don't expect awesome jobs right after graduation..

Aye, it will be a career move, and there may be other routes to establish. Military is just one of those things where, as Buddha said "be the change you wish to see in the world", I would want some solid folk in there and so far reports are im solid

But, like I said, if I went in and found something better suited for my capacities I have no real reason to go in. Just want to be excellent at the things I do.

It's one of my favorite quotes too.

Anyways good luck orbinox.
