Afl

Hello people

background info: exchange student from norway.

I got introduced to afl like when my host family met me at the airport. I think its awesome. I havent played it so much myself, but I tried kicking the ball, and im actually not that bad. I really prefer afl before soccer. cause soccer is boring !!

What do you people think of afl? My favorite team is of course the Fremantle Dockers (I have a secret I might tell you later in the thread )

Rove Mcmanus is a TV personality here in Australia. He has a TV show every tuesday night at 9:30 on Channel 10. The show is called "Rove Live" and it is a little bit like Conan O Brien or something like that....just MUCH worse and less funny.

good on the swans i doubt anyone would have tipped them. they stuck to their guns in the last few minutes and piled the pressure on the lions defence.

how so? they looked good against the saints and only lost cos of an iffy free kick. you're right in the end they lost but i've changed my mind about them since the start of the season, they look alright. shit week, upsets galore and all tight ones. UP THE BOMBERS!!!

Don't worry, that won't be until december so you have nothing to worry about! (If i get there at all )

Plus as Quidgydog pointed out in the tipping thread, if you didn't put tips in last week you would have gotten 5. Maybe I should go overseas...........

But yeah, theres been a few upsets/games that could have gone either way so far this year, making things a bit tough!

Can't wait until the power can actually put a team on the park that resembles their A team
