HFStival lives on!

Despite losing it's place on 99.1 fm radio in DC to a hispanic format station, the festival is back this year at a new venue, and with the best lineup in probably a decade!

HFStival 2005 will be held in Baltimore at M&T Stadium on May 14th!

Lineup (so far):

Wait- i'll correct myself- you're YOUNG. Too young to realize that this lineup is insane. So many MASSIVE acts from the good ole days, for those of us who listened to WHFS before it went commercial, when it was really underground. I've listened to that station since '85 (when you were 2 yrs old, & I was in 9th grade), and it was WAY better then.

Wtf, Are you fucking kidding me? Sum 41? WTF have they been? They played crap shit at HFS 2002, BUST. Social distortion? Garbage? Foo fighters? LOLOL jimmies chicken shack, All played out bands who are no longer doing anything highly productive, just going to be playing old shit. Good charlotte is just too EMO and the singer's voice annoys me. Yes I am young so what, But I know whos played out. I was hoping for the buzz tent performers to make up for it, but I can see theres alot of drum n bass, which totally sucks ass. I'll have to pass on this unless friend's want to go.

I guess you think old skool = 'played out' unless they're releasing new material annually?

Ever think that this event is a throwback for all the oldschoolers, especially since the station is no longer in function (for the most part)? I think the lineup has a fair share of talent over the course of many years, appealing to various styles.

Just wondering, who WOULD u have liked to see on this lineup?

Ya, I dunno why they got so much DnB going on this year- that's definitely John Tab's doing . I remember one year (I wasn't there) they had a 2-day festival, and the Buzz tent had acts like Sandra Collins, Deep Dish, Oakenfold, Josh Wink, etc... This yr's lineup isn't even worthy of me stepping foot in that tent.

did any1 think the line ups suck because its a half dead station so the flow they had is gone...and buzz always has dnb because thats part of the club they run...and they get a good response from it...but theres more to be announced by both Buzz and hfs so it might be that bad there over a month left

A beta lineup that comes to my mind right now, how about green day, story of the year, yellowcard, john mayer, blink 182, CKY, paul oakenfold....hmmmm cant think of much more at the moment seeing as how im pretty much strictly EDM, but cmon, that is a pretty weak lineup
