Question big rave in Victoria?

Hi everyone,

I don't post often over this side of the forum but I still think you guys could help me with this question of mine.

Someone told me that there was a big rave in Victoria some years ago, as big as 7000 people!

anyone have the name? was there really 7000 people?

Thanks in advance

All i remember from S&D at the former Victoria Mem Arena was that it was INDOORS and everyone at the rained out-but-still-goin 2Nasty party in Popkum were knee deep in a muddy moshpit.

The Noble House shows at that arena were definitely legendary. John Debo opened and then Sasha & Digweed played for 7 hours back and forth. Such a good crowd of people there too compared to Vancouver raves. Ahh the good old days.. we'll have to see what's cooking up though with mr Noble House Nigel this year. The wheels are turning and I have a feeling there are some big things ahead.

Anyone here remember the Cream/Bedrock tour at the arena in 98? John Digweed and Dave Seaman headlined plus Pascal played a ripper of a set as well as myself and the late great Brent Carmicheal plus more who I can't remember. John Digweed played an unreal set working towards some of the most intense and thumping stuff I've ever heard him play.

there were alot in the ferry queue, we figured they were ravers when we dropped the windows down and started playing trance full blast on the radio... not to hard to spot people doin the running man and liquid on a bright sunny day.
