anyone else hate opn book exams???
100 multiple choice in 2 and a half hours....
uber stressed me out
atleast its done...
any why is this mac running like its ass is chained to a fence????
sheesh
Usually during open book exams I don't even open my books...it's useless. You either know it or you don't. They make all my open book exams in a way that you can't really find the answer in the book unless you know EXACTLY where it is. But if you know exactly where it is chances are you already know the answer too...

I for one love open book exams!
open book. hah
those exams are a joke.
open book exams are a joke in highschool yes.
On open book exams in university are an excuse for a professor to repeatedly anally violate you with the 40 page exam paper, leaving you with uncomfortable paper cuts.

i could really use an open book for my bio exam
its also 100 multiple choice. how hard could it be? u see a keyword in the question and look it up in the index and u get it.
I just hate exams, period.
Testing your ability to regurgitate is hardly representative of your intelligence.
The whole educational system is a bit off kilter IMO
yeah open book exams are way better.
is it just me or multiple choice has gotten more difficult.
like it involves the correct spelling and notations.
also, i have seen it try to play with your mind abit.
i remember when multiple choice used to be easy
Id like to add that I hate ALL exams
easy, hard, open or closed book. exams r teh suck period
well no shit, but u still gotta do them
i hate exams mostly bcuz i gotta repeat everything allll over again within such small time. i forgot alllot of stuff and i feel fukd next week. 3 exams ,mon, tues, wed
and more after that
I have an open book exam using The Ontario Building Code, which is tediously wordy !! I am dreading it so much, but it's not for 4 more weeks, whew.
I think open book exams are fairly stupid. THey are ridiculously tedious and repetitive, and if you're not prepared, the book's not going to help you anyways. Cheat-sheet exams are pretty much the same thing. Except for anything mathematical. Sometimes I just can't remember 20 formulas for integration.
i don't get how some ppl STILL manage to fail open book tests. wtf?!
An open book exam doesnt really help that much, it just makes it more difficult. Instead of writting an essay you spend all the time looking for quotes that you could otherwise have just summarized in your own words.
I can't stand them.

Open book exams are not useful unless you have unlimited time to complete them.
With a time limit - you need to know your stuff, regardless of having the book there or not.
I'd like to see how many of those who say open-book exams are easy are actually doing math or science at the university level.
For engineering the key is as follows:
Open Book = Death.
Cheat Sheet = Death.
Closed Book = Death.
