Preach - Relic Mix Compilation

All I can say is wow!!! I bought the Preach Cd yesterday, and I really dont know how many other people here also bought it, but it is fkn AMAZING. I was really suprised that it isn't like most electronica CDs in the way that it actually has 24 tracks. (as opposed to maybe 15 if your lucky) Its such a good listen, I put it on and its almost as though my apartment turns into ARIA.

Kudos Preach, you've def. proven that you deserve to be in DJMAG'S TOP250 and for sure something to watch out for. You're going to go far.

Fav. Tracks:

07. Marko Nastic - Vanilla
19. Marco V - More than a life away
21. DJ Remy & Roland Klikenberg - 'Til ya Drop
22. DJ Preach - Pho Bang

there are too many to choose from....

I always enjoy his mixes, but to be honest I particularly liked this one!

I thought it was a very nice cd altogether, design, cd, tracklisting etc.. support our local techno talent! definitely worth the $$.

Nice to start a thread about this, a BIG congrats is definitely in order.

Kate, you have the undeniable skill of taking the words right out of my mouth.

I swung by HMV on the 2nd with the idea that it was released on the the 1st, but I was wrong. Either way, I'm looking forward to picking up my own copy soon.

I bought this cd also and i have to say that it impressed me alot. I'm not usually a big techno fan but I said, let's try it, because I have seen preach a few times..but wow..nice nice sick track selections and the mixes are just well done!!!! Plus, it's cool to have a lot of songs on the cd...keeps the music groovin with different sick beats!!

You all have to buy preach's cd to support one of the best canadian edm artists!!!

Peace

I picked up my own copy at HMV today! I'm pretty sure they've been selling well because the salesperson asked me what was so special about this guy and why everyone kept asking for his CD. Good job Preach!

OIL AND VINEGAR is a SICK track!
Till Ya Drop is fkn INSANE!

on tour? he's in Japan this weekend.
but it's true, you have to appreciate the chances you get, it's only going to become less frequent for sure!

thankfully montreal has no shortage of talent either!

Yo Marcus, check out Marco V. - More than a life away

another one of my favs.

Posted by Vermz on Apr-11-2005 20:35:

yeah nice set

it was my first time listening to Cave - Tambores
I find Cave pretty solid, his productions kick asses
if you wanna download some of his mixes with good pumping/tribal techno songs (november set include Preach - no war in the summer ..btw) go to http://www.cave.no

enjoy

Posted by Kate Manus on Apr-11-2005 21:20:

I just ordered a slammin new Cave release

I wasn't a fan of the first demo mix I heard of his, it was like he was trying to cram too many tracks together and the mixing was 'ok' but nothing great. Granted I see him as a producer first, dj second, and he is also quite young (23?).
I heard a more recent mix of his and I much preferred it! I can only handle so much tribal biz, but he did that mix with a nice balance.

worth checking out for sure

I am not aware of any other Norwegian djs either!
