2nd Most Favorite genre of music
Assuming that everybody rates trance as their favorite genre of music, what's next in line for you?
for me, rap is next
Btw, don't try to weasle out the easy way by saying Hardhouse, breakbeat, etc (all the subgeneres of techno and trance). Use good judgement please
70s rock
Stones
Led Zep
Pink Floyd
Fleetwood Mac
10 Years After
etc etc
and i do like SOME freestyle from the early 90s
For me Prog House is #1 then Jazz is #2
I'm not sure if Ambient/Chillout music would be "weasling out" according to you, but if not then those *might be my second.
But I don't like many other forms of music, I like classic rock up to an extent, Led Zeppelin being my favorite, Hendrix, etc.
Then modern rock I guess? Not really though, I like: Tool and A Perfect Circle alot, but I'm not sure what form of rock music they'd fit into.
I like a little bit of rap, though I find myself being more critical of what rap music to listen to.
1. trance
2. emo (no joke)

Since I can't list Techno or Ambient I'd say Industrial.
Re: 2nd Most Favorite genre of music
edit: ahhhh fuck it
80's dance-schlager-pop
(Modern Talking, Bad Boys Blue, Boney M etc)
Reggae
For me.. its trance..
its not my fav genre anymore
is it just me or is he trying to get at a genre that is NOT edm.
in that case
underground hiphop
rap, rnb
classical
spanish guitar
all types not country and death metal tho
Psytrance for me.
Alternative rock (old No Doubt (that's actually mostly ska but well), Garbage, The Hives, K's Choice, Placebo etc. etc.)
Indie - stuff like the Zutons, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs etc.
Trance. Goa is the first.
Hardstyle
Re: 2nd Most Favorite genre of music
Minimal/detroit techno. Nothing too hard/fast. Also instrumental jazz, depending on my mood.
I would say breaks, but as thats not allowed, I'll hafta go Trip Hop
The Gothenburg sound.
Old-skool rave. I know its more of an umbrella term than an actual genre but what the hell.
But if you don't want anything electronic (as you seem to think all EDM counts as trance), then metal.
First is house and second is rap.
