Doesn't look a bad mixer for the price, but I think I will stick with my Xone 62

I got mine about a week ago, so far so good its got loads of effects on it and its fcuking huge.

I'll put some pics and some info up maybe a vid aswell later on today if I get time.

I'm glad they made the channel faders a decent length. I got a PD01(that right?) and the channel faders were ickle and the curve wasn't nice. Love to see that Numark have >>>this<<< out now and it basicly a cut down version (of the PD01, no effects) which the scratchers are paying more for (red leds instead of blue ones fo' real da'ts the shizzle, which I could scratch actually).

Hey you should man, would be nice to see this baby in action, I'd like to see what the scratching feature is like, and it says its got this beatkeeper program in so when you make a loop, it will always make it a seemless loop as it will move the in/out which you set for the loop slightly to make it seemless.

Reckon I used all the effects on the mixer, had to be an effects whore to get em all in the 30 mins so its a bit packed with em. The recording gets a bit loud when the last tune comes in, started to get a bit carried away lol.

I did a little bit of a scratch at the begining of the vid to try and show the crossfader curve on full, I'm not a scratch master still practising so don't expect dj hype style. The faders are quite good and also have quite a good response.

The main wheel controls all the effects, if you have ever used a cdx then the effects are very similar to that. The wheel aslo controls the scratch effect where you can scratch the music in real time.

The sampler is good and towards the end of the vid, dunno if it gets too loud to tell but when layering the sample you can use the wheel as pitch bend to keep it in sync.

If you can't tell what any of the effects are post the time and i'll let you know what it was. They are your basic effects so most people should know whats being used when.

And as comparisons go it is not as good as a DNX1500, my mate has had one for 6 months now and imo that is the best mixer out. This mixer has plenty of effects and gives you nice control but the build quality is not same which is why it is 100-200 cheaper than the others.

p.s I'll leave the vid up for a few days but I will have to take it down after that as I need the space.

EDIT: just watched the vid, gotta say I'm impressed with the features, they seem to work well, and the scratching seems to sound good, also liked the reverse button aswell, they came up with a good idea with the whole buffer memory for effects, props to Numark.

I must say, I had the Numark CDN-90 dual cd player for about a year and I really liked using that jog wheel for the effects, I thought it was very smooth and intuitive.

In addition, I liked using it to pitch bend as well - I think being able to pitch bend the effects with it would be nice.
