reason with cubase
anyone know how to sync propellorheads reason 2.5 with cubase sx...i can hook them up and all and put them in slave mode the only problem is theres a delay for some reason..if i signal a note in reason it takes about a second before i hear it...will someone please tell me where im going wrong
well the delay could be because of your soundcard! what sound card do you have?
i do use the same programs as you. Download REASON VST REWIRE !
I WILL SHOW YOU A PICTURE OF WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!
POST SOON!
im not at home at the moment so i cant check but its the primary soundcard that came with my computer..dell 8210 i think...ive never had a problem with it..id love if you printed a picture thanks
Ya its probally your speakers. If its the primary one with a dell, im asuming its just a sound blaster which arent that great for producing but do work. If its onboard sound, lol, you'll need a new card.
aahh, i think it has to do with this!

Notes: If you are experiencing a delay between the time when you press and key and when sound comes from your VST/AU instrument, be sure ASIO is turned on in your sequencers sound device properties. |

HAving a good soundcard is the beginning of everything... You can't have a good sound and a good latency with a multimedia soundcard.
i would love hardware, but dont have enough $$$$$.
i also been surfing and found that some hardware or software allow
0 latency!

The latency depends of the drivers you have for your sound card. But some drivers and sound cards have really better performance than others (I have a MOTU 828MKII). You can improve latency with the best last drivers developped for your sound card... ASIO 2.0 are the best.
For myself, software is good and except perhaps an Access Virus, I'm not interested in hardware anymore... even the JP-8000 (or 8080) has been used too many times and I'm sick of that kind of sound! Even if I have one...
VST RULES!!!!!
