i thought i heard some vocal in the symphony dub sample at the blanco negro site...which was really odd

either way, my copy has been ordered

edit: the vocal mix is prob similar in structure to the dub

Dub doesn't necessarily mean Instrumental, no vocals at all but rather less of them or different arrangement of the vocals. Original meaning of Dub has been lost long ago when it meant a rerecording, an alternate, different take on the track and it had pretty much nothing to do with vocals.

Anyways, definitely getting my copy soon of these fantastic mixes.

hm.. i wonder when producers are going to get a decent kick instead of this "plastic" above&beyond-style-kick that everyone has nowadays

it's alright otherwise i guess.. but not close to original

As said and before, you can't do a remix that won't sound good for this tune. It's one of those that have fantastic melody and vocals and whatever you do,it just sound great. However these mixes are not at the same level as G&D remix or the Original Mix.

Its alright...normal trance work.
Doesn't give anything special...just so easily done.

don't really like em :\

original/g&d own so much more

Posted by Carl_Paris on Apr-14-2005 21:15:

Pretty good. However, the rock-type drumming in the break of the Deserves An Effort mixes nearly ruin them for me, just sounds really cheesy...

Agreed, i thought they would be awesome because of the first few reviews but their nothing special. The Symphony Dub Mix is the only one which deserves a mention imo. Gabriel & Dredsen remixes are in a totally different league.

Yeah, these new mixes are nowhere near as good as Gabriel & Dresden remixes, along with an original.
