What are you listening to right now? GTA

Man, I didn't think I would love Oakie this much...AVB is so HOT RIGHT NOW...Ferry's coming up...Tiesto is my overall fave, but Creamfields CD1...WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what it is about trance...I've got a shitload to do at work so I've brought some home and I've been going strong all night. Trance keeps me going, and once a month when I come out it's like it makes my already strong commitment EVEN STRONGER.

Wanted to take a quick break and see who else in the GTA is soaking up the beats right now, doing whatever they're doing...

See y'all in the morning!
F

Heh, yeah it's more industrial sounding... But with the whole preacher thing and the beats.. I think it's a friggin cool track!

ah yeah....true pioneers of electronic music. I love how the new electro/industrial prog sounds remind me of the front 242 days. Moldavia (1991) is still such a good track.

At the moment I am listening to some delicious breaks...
Christian J & Dylan Rhymes - Party People
Meat Katie & Elite Force - The Answer
Dylan Rhymes - Salty (Meat Katie mix)

some hard progressive madness....
Nick K Vs Rocco Mundo - Running With The Bad Guy

and one of my new fave producers... Derek Howell. "Happy to be Sad", "Funk it"

Posted by Matt on Apr-12-2005 17:04:

Enmass - Endorphine

Posted by dc ajaxs on Apr-12-2005 17:05:

ferry corsten - ministry of sound session 2002

Posted by zoogla on Apr-12-2005 17:35:

AVB - Universal Religion 2 (aka Fahad's Quran)

I actually just drove 20 minutes to my gym and back to get my MP3 player so I can listen to music right now...couldn't wait...

Above & Beyond - Far From In Love (Original)
And the guy at HMV told me it would be released on the 19th. Which is it?

If you're digging oakie you should get some of his sets from when he was the resident on essential mix.
He was at his best!

diamondback - mekka (dj tiesto isos series)

Maybe I should look for some old Ministry or KMFDM cds and pogo hop to it.

Anyway Luke Chable's mix in Irieland mon is da bomb. Tanx Mecha.

ps. pronounced Chaw-ble. Don't forget.

Speaking of which..

Front 242 - Headhunter 2000 (Space Frog Mix)

...is ace..in a demon-summoning/dark basement/'rave' sort of way

Posted by mercure on Apr-12-2005 19:14:

My friend likes a Tenaglia mix of Headhunter, but it sounds too soft and ploddy to me.

Right now I'm digging the 2005 Eddie Halliwell Essential Mix, and on the non-electronic side, going back to early 90s pop with Aztec Camera.

definitely. Loved that Front 242 came out with the "Headhunter" album that had something like 10 different remixes of that track on it.
