Bad News Rant Thread
So, as some of you know, and some don't, I have a gig in the Dominican Republic this Saturday. So, I paid almost $700 airfare, as it's a friend's show, because it's a vacation and supposed to be a sick show (1000+ patrons).
I get a call today, from my buddy, telling me not to expect a great turnout. Since the pope decided to pass on last weekend, a Mardi Gras party was rescheduled for this weekend. It's a free party and showcases Sandra Collins. My friends party features Iio, but charges $15 to get in. I wasn't a huge pope fan before, but this is just irritating. I am an optimist and hope that it will still be a good party, but my realist side realizes that I just spent mucho dinero and will probably have a weaker crowd than I usually do here in Denver. Oh well, I guess I'll just treat it like a vacation.
Also, the girl I've been seeing isn't gonna make it out for my b-day. Oh well, I'm still gonna have a blast anyway.
Anyone else have some good rants?

bought FS2 for �550 - didnt work. store wouldnt give me refund as it worked for them. spent �20 shipping FS1 - it got "lost" in the mail so no rebate. bought SSL for �450 works great but 3 month old M5Gs needed serviced so got charged �100 by the only service center in Belfast to realign the fuckin pitch...
oooh tore my cruciate ligament in my knee playing soccer. did this 2 days b4 my birthday so spent it in crutches. had to cough up �400 for an MRI scan. now on a 2 year waiting list for surgery....
oh well - at least im pretty

I bought myself smick new uber computer & had it sent over from Queensland to me. I spend a couple of grand on this beast & was freaken hangen out for it to arrive. I phone up the guys I bought it off & they said they were waiting on the graphics card to arrive. This pissed me off because they said they already had all the components ready & that it would ship a day late & arrive at my joint in 3 day. Anyways, 1 month later I finally got my computer. I opened up the box to see that my hard drive had fallen out of its compartment & had been flung around inside the case. FUCK! I plugged her in & of course it didnt work. I had to get the mother board & the hard drive replaced & wait yet another few weeks for them to arrive. I absolutely hate waiting.

thanks - apparently once i get the surgery i should be fine. probably wont be the same player but i'll just be glad to be playing again!

my parents thought i was DEAD and was waiting till night time to call the manager of the residency i live in.....
lol.....poor parents in PR...thinkin im dead and all 
i haven't been able to get it up for 2 weeks.

Last year during september a girl who had moved away from here 2 years ago came back during homecoming to visit friends n such. she didnt have a date for the dance and didnt want to be a 5th wheel so i said i'd go with her. we started talking a lot and last christmas i flew down there to see her. this past mid february i broke up with her because of the distance and for various other reasons. I started talking to a friend of hers more and more (whom i'd talked to a lot before and met her person to person when i went down there.) her friend and i realized how much we had in common and eventually feelings developed between us. We didnt mean for it to happen, but it just kinda did. After the breakup with my ex i remained very good friends with her but last week i decided to do the right thing and be honest to my ex about the situation between her friend and i. i told her about it all and now she hates both of us 
I told her how sorry i was, writing long emails, etc. but she still wont talk to me. i suppose i'll have to give it time.
to make things worse, they happen to live 1000 miles away. I wanted to go down there for her prom and be with my current girl but i have no money so that means i dont get to see her. i havent seen her for 4 months and now im selling my beloved vinyls on ebay to get money. well.. im selling the ones i dont care too much about
