How many people loves TRANCE in Holland ???

I'm curious to know it

For me, Trance is veryyyy famous by a lot of people in Holland !

Am I wrong ?

Trance is mainstream in Holland, but that doesn't mean that all kids love GOOD trance. The trance most peeps listen to is Sylver, Milk Inc, Mauro Picotto's commercial productions....stuff like that...stuff what we, real TA's , wouldn't even call Trance

Even though a random party attracts about 30.000 peeps, that still doesn't mean that all those peeps are TA's......lately all the girls that walk around at these parties....YUGH...only there to get laid, that's what it looks like to me...those bimbo's (simple minded 15 yr old girls) even go to the Techno parties! grrrrr

anyway.....my dear fellow TA's....little fact here: Holland has 16 MILLION inhabitants, Amsterdam is the capital of Holland but it doesn't represent Holland. Our country is WAY more than just hookers, drugaddicts and coffeeshops. We have about the BEST social security system in the world, and our taxes are used for usefull things such as building new schools, new infrastructure, providing a traintickets for students so they can travel for free with the train...
How big is Holland? I'm not sure, from North to South about 200 miles, from West to East about 100 I guess......but I'm not sure.
Most Dutch people speak at least 3 languages, which is Dutch, English and German. At school, French and Spanish are also taught.

How good are the Dutch Universities, what are they "special" for, which ones have a good INTERNATIONAL reputation, leave aside the nightlife ..just wanna talk about the "level" of universities

Like ms proximus said, not many people like real trance. Nearly every "so called" trance fan (heehooers ) love barthezz, sylver and lasgo but dont really appreciate the real sound.

de KUB at Tilburg is very good, it is one of the best economics universities of Europe (guess to whick University I will be going to )

Proxi said it all, most peeps like Trance here in Holland, but most of the times it is Top40 Trance like (in our country) Flight 643, Perpeteous Dreamer, Sylver, Milk Inc. etc etc

That we have the most Trance-minded peeps in Holland of the world is pretty easy to see, lots of TA's are dutch and our own Holland Forum is very popular too

us dutch peeps like to pull off a joke (not everybody likes the jokes )we had some great jokes pulled on our fellow Ta's some of them you don't even know yet

It is sooo hard to get gigs here...you've got to connections first, then mixing skills, and good musical taste a distant third. and what makes it worse is that even most of the electronic music fans have not even heard of uplifting trance...

BTW
I love Holland. My aunt lives in Amsterdam about 2 km southeast of Centraal Station...I'll be back next summer.

A lot of Dutch like trance, but it's like Miss Proximus mentioned before, they only like the commercial tunes (which I don't have a problem with cos some are quite nice).
The good thing for me is that my dad likes trance very much too.
He likes Bervoets & De Goeij tunes (Rank 1, AIDA, etc)

Oh and to all people who wanna visit holland, you're more then welcome here (we have tons of simple minded 15 yrs old girls )
