can we really say that?......................................

i believe that music has its on voice so why is it that so many times these tv shows keep blocking the words which we need to hear?

to be serious

you can buy the artist albums with explicit lyrics (for the most part). its mostly up to the label and very rarely in todays commercial music industry, the artist. of course they are going to block out the words, they dont give a fuck about what hes saying, they know they are going to make money either way. famous face, some kind of ok beat, they're in, regardless of what they have to say. there are many artists who promote their videos and such that have entirely explicit lyircs. the problem is the mainstream, the people who listen to it, the record companys and sometimes the artist.

Why don't the gansta rappers (and musicians in general) just realise you don't need to swear every second word to sound cool/make a point/make money (mainly 1 and 3).

Theres no need for it, they should grow up a bit and realise this.
Look at Maxi Jazz from Faithless for instance. Hardly ever swears (50 cent probably has more swear words in one song than Faithless does in all their songs) and is probably one of the best lyricists and story tellers going around, no one can set a scene and make their point as clearly as him.

So in conclusion, don't swear in the first place

oh comeon, thats not the answer. sure swearing makes me cringe when its so often used, but to get rid of it completely...wouldnt solve ANYTHING. more oppression by the industry and there would be no point to being a musician in the mainstream other than money. they are basicly puppets once they sell there souls to a label. we should start by killing off all the big labels... then those fucking rappers
