terrible records
I received your records (after over 2 weeks of paying) and in the lot of 50 i think i put 3 into my crate. I'm ashamed to even resell these on eBay for the sake of decency.
You said they're from a DJ store that closed down 3 days ago, yet, thats been posted in all of your auctions for the past month. All the tracks I received from you would be considered garbage about 5 years ago, when they were released. Now, it would be a joke to even play this in the sanctity of my bedroom with no one listening!!
I didn't get even ONE of the tracks that you had given as examples of "music that could be in your mystory lot", nor were any of them the same genre that you have listed. very misleading...
Hehe gotta wonder about the ebay name, "Sexviolator"
hehe
ya no kidding.. what i found very tasteful was on my paypal statement that is mailed to me, it showed up as: PAYMENT - eBay: Sexviolator
as i told you bfore that i have over 7000 records and im not going to look threw everything and spend half a day to get the tracks you are looking exactly for we sell by style not track we are not a retailer if i was id get 10 plus a track your a joker and you dont know what your looking for i gave you labels you asked for now your being a dick i always offer a exchange pollocy if your not satisfied but you never even bothered to say anything just threat me with your childis games go figure
This is not a criticism of anyone here - just an observation I'd like to share:
I've been trading records on eBay for a pretty long time and if there is one thing I've learned it's that whenever anyone refuses to say what they are selling you in the lot, there is a very high chance it's going to be crap (forget the excuses that one has no time to list what they have). If the records are quality material then there is no reason from a seller's perspective not to disclose the identity of those records. What is a common practice though (as I've noticed over the years) it's that many sellers will say they have many records good/bad and then will obviously list the good ones as examples to entice the buyer into purchasing the lot. It's basically the buyer's wishful thinking at work here - (i.e. "if I buy this lot odds are I'll get at least some good material in there). In reality, this rarely turns out to be the case...
So, for me the rule of thumb has been never to buy any tunes in bulk unless I know exactly what's under the hood.
Still, I think the seller here is in the clear, since he explicitly stated that none of the records listed as examples are guaranteed.
hi just wanted to i agree with what you said but only if your just selling one bulk lot but i sell atleast 500 records a day and at first i started listing every record and sales were better faster more money
but when it comes down to it im not asking a lot for the records and it takes me over an hour to give a detailed discription with a full list and for me to list every record i have well over 7000 plates i just dont think the profit marjin is worth all that time. i also help people get what they want by asking them what the spin what labels they like and thats how i build the lot if someone tells me they want pvd style and i send them flighty proggressive trance then are pissed at me becouse in reality they wanted mininimal prog sutch as ozgur can i cant help that i only go by what they tell me . i give free shiping and people complain that two weeks via media mail is too long its on my bill not theres i always offer shipping upgrades but its not free
but thanks
and again i always am willing to talk with opeople on the phone and play records for them so they can tell me if they like a record and i will put in in there lot
Well I am going to take a chance on him and order a lot from him and another 1 he has on Ebay so I will let every 1 know how this turns out some times you got to take a chance but he seems cool so we will see

mystery box.es...
yes.. which is why I didn't post negative feedback or bitch about it until he posted an ad on here. I understand that the seller did absolve himself of any responsibility, which is why I'm not gonna bother for an exchange nor am i going to post negative feedback. All i'm doing is posting a 411 for anyone else thinking of buying a mystery box. This was the first time I had purchased a mystery box ever, and was just shocked when I got a bunch of tracks from around 2000 and earlier that were not the genre that i had requested.. It was just deceiving that in the auction ad, all the titles listed were either brand new chart-topping tracks, OR they were rare classics that anyone would be happy to receive.. even if they had another copy. It's upsetting to drop $100+ on two auctions and end up with 2-3 tracks that you keep, and having to take a hit on the rest....
In any case, lesson learned.
