my friend and i are driving across the country

so i just wanted to see if anyone else has done this sort of thing, were driving from the top of the lower peninsula of michigan to san francisco CA in the middle of May. IM SO EXCITED! Were planning on stopping at some senic sites like the grand caynon, any other suggestions? like what are some places to stop by or fun routes etc. would be greatly appreciated Also some recommended electro cds to bring on the way.

I will be driving from Daytona to Central Cal next month. 2600 freaking miles. Definitely gonna stop at the grand canyon, not sure where else though.

i drove cross country when i was 18 for college.

drove from south boston to san diego(where i go to school still). what a f-ing adventure!

tips? pack lite, the random places you eat and stop the better! try different things, don't eat at places you've eaten at your whole life. sleep in those house motels, screw AAA's handbook and the best westerns across the planet.

don't pick anyone up, find a pet, get laid, tag team a chick, drive at night, its a lot more cool lol

my friend and i are definitly planning on doing the different things, we just arn't sure what those are yet haha I'm all about driving at night too some dark trance really sets the mood. Arnt there some great places in Colorado to check out? Like don't they have a trance scene there or am i way off? And a free burn to any TA's who live in states along the way that lets us stop by

i love car rides, ive gone to florida a couple of times and went to vail once, but nothing as far as san fran, itl be fuuun

my advice skip central cal and either go south to LA or north SF.
