Elections this summer... who will you vote for?

So who and why?

Posted by Marcus007 on Apr-14-2005 03:38:

Liberals. I'd rather take crooked politicians over the gun-totting conservatives out west. The day the conservatives came into power is the day Canada inches closer towards a more "american" way of living.

I also have a feeling this thread is going to turn into an ultra flamewar.

doesn't matter if it becomes a bit heated, its politics.

Posted by ninjahola on Apr-14-2005 03:41:

Wow, Malek, super good poll mate....I'm leaning toward the Libs as well for now, but its impossible to say for now, its also tough to say that I would vote liberal, will be doing some serious thinking about this one!!!

Posted by malek on Apr-14-2005 03:42:

I really want to vote Green, but i'm not decided yet, so I haven't casted my vote in this poll.

Posted by ninjahola on Apr-14-2005 03:43:

Seems like the safest bet anyways right!

Posted by malek on Apr-14-2005 03:46:

its maybe wishful thinking, but i belive that if the Greens get enough votes, let say 5% and they don't get a seat, there will be a heated debate to change the whole electoral system to be more representative.

Posted by ninjahola on Apr-14-2005 03:48:

Very Wishful!!! But I agree

where's Bronze and the crew when you need them!

I voted for the Marxist-Leninist party in 2000 and the Marijuana party in 2004. This time, will probably vote for either the NDP or the Green party, simply because these are the parties that best represent my views without making me feel like I wasted my vote.

Posted by sEpH on Apr-14-2005 04:53:

jai vot Bloc lan dernier mais je crois que je vais voter NPD maintenant. Jack Layton a pas mal les memes valeurs que moi et en plus ye tellement pimp...

De toute facon jhabite a Outremont, le deuxieme pays des juifs apres Israel. Jean Lapierre(librale) a bien choisi son compt, ye quasiment sur de gagner... quoi qu'aux dernieres lections ya eux chaud contre Robello(bloc).

hehe...nahhh, my commie days are over...I became disillusioned with the philosophical basis for Marxism (Hegelian dialectic), and I'd rather pop than smoke up...on the other hand, if there was an XTC party...

Man, canada would be such a beautiful place if there was an xtc party.

I've voted Liberals all my life but it might change

I wanna see their programs before i take any decision, although i fear that it'll be another Bloc quebecois' catastrophe in Quebec, if only quebecers would read the Ndp program ...

Well ..

le programme pour le protocole de kyoto hier confirme que je veux pas vivre dans ce canada honteux

Posted by fastmp3 on Apr-14-2005 13:55:

anyone but the conservatives

Posted by SiM PeRf on Apr-14-2005 18:47:

peu importe qui va etre au pouvoir pour les 10 prochaines annes.....la situation va rester sensiblement la meme.....

puisque ca va mal conomiquement aux states et quon va commencer a en ressentir les effets ici sans doute biento et pour une relativemetn longue priode......lconomie du Canada va suivre indniablement et donc le gouvernement aura un rle trs difficile.......jcrois donc que les mieux placs pour faire face a ca...ca reste les libraux.....minoritaires bien sur.....

Posted by malek on Apr-14-2005 19:02:

ca va pas si mal aux US conomiquement parlant...

politiquement c'est une autre histoire

Posted by Tag on Apr-14-2005 19:24:

If I vote, I'm for sure voting for the Green party...

Well last time I voted Marijuana, but obviously that's a waste of a vote. The poll points to the liberals, but I hate Paul Martin and I don't wanna vote for corruption...though anyone in there is going to be corrupt. I'll probably go with NDP, get some new blood, new ideas in there. But I'll definately have to read up on the issue first.
