i got the mix just for the hell of it, and i must admit, i really like it !!!

oh my, Karim, 80s dj!!!

keep the good stuff coming!

This reminds me of my childhood...I recognized 3/4 of these tracks...80s forever!! I love this stuff And your mix was great and will definitely be seeing a lot of time in my player. Keep it up I have to admit however that I was disappointed not to find two of my favourite italo-disco tunes:
Monotones --- Mono
Devo --- Whip it.
If you make another mix, add them!!! Thanks and keep it up

Actually, I went back to my italo disco collection, and here are some other classics that should be included in any future mix:

Modern Talking --- Atlantis is Calling
Modern Talking --- Brother Louie
Falco --- Rock Me Amadeus
Blue Monday --- New Order

it's actually a known fact that most of the "electro" producers around take their inspiration from Italo-disco

Btw i'm downloading the set as we speak !

Devo -- Whip it is not quite the classical Italo-Disco sound, but would definitely fit quite nicely with your style. You should check out Devo in general, they have tons of very future sounding tracks coinsidering they played mostly in the early 80s. Krinker would definitely like them
Monotones -- Mono is my absolute favourite. It's an extremely rare track. I still have my copy on cassette from my dad's collection Good luck finding it though...
Falco -- Rock Me Amadeus is total classic Italo-disco. Amazing track and is exactly the sound you're looking for I would imagine.
Modern Talking -- Brother Louie -- Also amazing classic italo-disco.

And yeah, as Krinker said, definitely the pre-cursor of electro. Keep those mixes coming!

wanna laugh a little more on how much theses "electro" artists are just copying ( btw i'm in a huge electro influence beats theses days so please take this with some perspective )

The Genre Electro was first introduced in the 1970's by some unknown group .... not sure anybody here knows this group it was called

KRAFTWERK !!

lol do i sense some sarcasm there?

yes..d efinatley kraftwerk did do this.. if with anything it was radioactivity. Sadly kraftwerk ahsnt evolved their style much since hten.. they are more sticking to acidy stuff instead of driving electro.

electro is great though
