What would you do without TRANCE???

I was sitting here thinking about my life and all, and I found out that the thing in my life that means the most to me is the music, Trance. Music brings us all joy, I love music, I love trance! and then i was thinking... what if trance didnt exist? what if there wasnt any songs with a good beat like trance? what if the wearent any music at ALL? what would I be doing then.. how would I live? how would my perspective of life be? WHO WOULD I BE?
Who would I be if Trance didnt exist? what if i would never hear a good beat again, what if I would never hear a melody, that is so remarkeble and so pure and wonderfull, like trance? what would I turn out to be in future?

This is to all of you trance-lovers out there and I know there isnt alot of us but there are a few and gaining more and more every day, the trance scene is not that big but getting more massive.
To All OF You: I love what you do for the music, spreading it so everyone can have the joy to listen ot it! so everyone will be able to get good feelings from the music, the music holds you up, and makes you feel better when you are sad. I Love the artists who produce these great song's. Every song is unique in it self, with its own beats and feelings. I love this project! I'm being able to get tunes now more then ever,

... and I love all of you, who supports trance, making it bigger and spreading the music so trance gets into a higher state in this world.

What would the world be without Trance?
What would You be, and I be without Trance!

Think about it for a while.. and you will see... that there is nothing better in this world then Music... and trance!

I totally agree dude but I hope it's not getting too massive. I know commercial overkill will kill the genre when I talk about a long period. And that's what I don't want to happen.

I agree, the world would deffenetly be diffrent without music, if trance didn�t existed I would probably like some other music, but never love it as I love trance.

well, you'd prolly love it as much as you love trance now cuz you wouldnt have trance to compare it to...

I also agree with you =) but I think, Trance is commercial already here in Holland I think (not all of cours but it's almost mainstream here) but as long as we keep it alive it won't die. (clever huh? hehe)

I think trance could be bigger than it is here in Sweden right now, but the good side about it is that it�s not mainstream...

Nice philosophizing. Trance is to me and uplifting outlet where my energy gets expressed and anything is possible. But if I sit and think about what it would be like without it, I wouldn't know anybetter. We wouldn't have experienced the profound love for it and would feel no less. We would envelop our emotions into some other outlet or we wouldn't be as expressive at all. There may even be something that we aren't aware of that may be better than trance and not know it. But since this is all we know, we can be lucky that we do have trance.

i'd just listen to my other music more... i don't just listen to trance and don't think it's "my life" as other TA's seem to believe

I would spend my time lethargically sitting at home in front of my television in hopes of some form of entertainment. I would listen to some dumb non-meaningful music to keep up with the hype so i wouldn't feel left out when having a discussion with friends over how cool Limp Bizkit's, Britney Spears', etc.'s, new song is. Overall it would be fairly boring.

I would relax.........and meditate with only one thought on my mind......and that would be..........what method of suicide would be the most painful......then I would find it.........and just before initiating it......I would realize that sex is really good.....and food is really good........and a lot of things are really good........and then I'd find away to bring the trance back.....because all of those things are a million times better when there's trance.......

and then if I couldn't.......blah blah blah

Music has always been a big apart of my life. Right now...I religiously listen to trance and am sooo glad that I discovered it. I mean if there wasn't trance I would probably listen to something else just as meaningful. Maybe start listening to Depeche Mode, The Cure, Erasure, and New Order again (which has been my first love). Nonetheless, MUSIC in general is very important to me.

i live in a place where when people ask what kind of music I listen to I have to respond with "techno" cuz nobody knows what trance is A lot of people have bad opinions about techno, cause of crystal method, and fatboy slim.. no offense to those who like them.. but they pretty much destroyed the trance scene in america but trance is growin, all my buds are into it now, and lots of people come to me and are like "i heard this new song by TRANCE that i downloaded off napster" hahahaha, or "on my psx2 game there was this tight song by somebody called hybrid! have you ever heard of them??" things like that make me laugh, but I love it, cause people get to know what real "techno" is

and I guess somthing else that adds, is I'm not what you'd call your typical "raver".. im just some prep.. whos fallen in love, and is starting to dj.. I dont wear "caffiene", or goto raves, or drink, smoke, or any of tha stuff, I just got a love 4 tha music

i think i wouldnt be where i'm at today, at least in part...
u see, trance was the "motivation" i needed while in school, it was "relaxation" from the everyday bullshiznit, and the "joy" making me happier while listening to it!!!

i can relate....although trance is getting more popular here,....far from commercial though....

Just got thinking about it after reading this post...I have been a fan of lots of music for a long time...but I think it's natural to gravitate to one kind of music that partly shapes your identity...after finding a very dynamic, intriguing, and captivating type of music it becomes something you want to identify with...and trance can do that because it's not too commercialized, or mass produced in the same way as generic pop...I don't think trance is the be all and end all to my life or anything...but I feel like I've changed since I started listening to trance..become more positive in a way..maybe it's just a correlation.

..another thing..I can't stand bars or music with really slow beats like hip hop any more..I dunno why...I like the party atmosphere better yet I don't consider myself a raver or clubber either..

i'll probably listen to techno lol

Helo, Mt name is Ariel and I'm Trance-oholic.

Well I guess If Trance never Existed I would be listening now to methal, something like system of a down.
I'd grow long hair and wear black T-shirt and black jeans and black leather boots.

I'd punch people in the street and scream:
"Yea !!!!! Satan Rulez !!!!!!"

I'd jump on walls and do fogo fights with people I don't know in the bus.

Where I live now (Just outside T.O.) and not being able to get into the city, I feel like the only person that listens to Trance. When I get the ocasional person I say hey take a listen. They do the oh this is cool, thing, u know. I personally think there are 2 types of people who listen to trance. No disrespect for anyone but it's the type of people they are.

1) The people that listen to trance because they love it. They can ride the melodies, hum them in there head, and apreciate that there is something to it, someone has put something more then time and effort into it. The Music does something for you, takes you on a journey, or tells a wordless story to you, about, something, that not that many people can understand. These are the people That LOVE trance.

2) The people who will go out somewhere like a club, love the basslines, like the pumping, uplifting atmosphere. The happy whistles and pounding bassslines make for the perfect party music and everyone has alot of fun. These are the people who listen to trance.

I've seen people from group #2 and they can easily go back to top 40 and still enjoy tracks, and listen to some good rap (everyone does). But me personally being in group 1, music couldn't be the same. I think it's because I've found Amazing tunes, that I will never hear from any OTHER type of music. No other genre could take what others call pings and beeps, and make so much more then noise. I can't remember the last time I listened to a song on the radio and felt as much emotion as 1/2 the tracks I have in my library. I'm starting to think that if there were no trance, I'd listen to house =P

for sure you won't be TRANCE-CANADA you would only be CANADA...

i think life wouldn't be as easy and carefree if trance didn't exsist. trance helps people relax and take their minds away from the stress life is giving them. well it sure does it for me.

I LOVE TRANCE... So does the rest of us or else we wouldn't be TRANCEADDICTS!
