Matt Darey was OK when I saw him last year, but I think personally there are other people who are more deserving for promoters to spend their money on. Also there was a very poor turnout for Matt Darey last time so thats not a good sign either.

Well last year it was at heaven on a thursday night and was around 300 people....

the fact is, he's doing a tour... and youd be surprised what some trance djs charge and so forth, or you have to wait for them to get brought over.

Darey had a pretty good turn out. It was closer to 450 Lucas. Stampy its really not an issue of bringing over someone else, we can only pick up someone if they are touring, so we look at whose offered and how much they are asking and decide. Darey will be on at Echo@Soda if we put him on. Tix will prob be $10-12.

Would you guys be interested.

*also it would be the week before Winter Enchanted, which may prove a problem.

Will definately be at JOOF.

id love to see matt again. was a fun night at heaven. um but the last two echos have been a bit disapointing as in turn out wise. with it being a week before winter enchanted is a worry! personally i wouldnt risk my money on that chance if i was promoting.

Well for me personally, Darey isn't that much of a big thing. I respect the man greatly, but as far as DJing goes, I think he is sort of a "generic" trance DJ.... as in his style I mean, doesn't really have something that sets him apart from the rest. I hope this makes sense.

And yes for j00f I will be there. only $10 before midnight I think what a steal. Lets hope for a turnout greater than 15 people this time, unlike last time he played here.

You should come over this weekend... cmon, only a 9 hour drive.

Stampy - Yeah i get what your saying, and agree. Although with all his productions it does offer something.

The week before WE is definitely a concern. Will have a decision by early next week.
