Boot from cd, the option has to be on there somewhere. I know I've had some troubles with it too. That's when you miss Dos again.

The way I do it.

1)Reboot with WinXP cd.

2)Delete the C partition.

3)Recreate the C partition.

4)Format C partition.

5)Install WinXP.

Get shitty OSX problems instead.

Or use Linux and have installation problems, then give up with a half-install...

dont forget to go into your bios by pressing F2 DEL or some key like that in the beginning of boot and change your boot priority to CD-ROM and not your hard drive. Then boot of the cd and in the beginning it will ask you if you would like to reinstall over an existing Windows installation, you say no and that you would like to do a new install of Windows. It will ask you to format the partition NTFS n such just say yes and fallow the rest of the prompts.

Service pack 2 covers about 90% of the needed updates. Then just do a win update and get the rest in on download
