The Blonde will a have an album coming out on JOOF very soon. Got looooaaaaddsss of awesome tracks ready to go. |
i've been waiting for this album for more than 5 years.
A SAVAGE of an album! My countdown has started.
Puts most albums to shame
hehe...i think us 3, and perhaps PEZ68, are the biggest Ricky Smith whores on the boards
I'm still loving 'Antheum' from 1996. Found it on vinyl recently.

maybe because Ricky is one of the few producers which never whored himself out. Releasing quality productions/remixes only once in a while have rather increased the thirst fir his stuff.
There are very few producers which can lineup top notch productions such as Antheum, Electra, Optical, Noctone, Legato, Gothica the massive remix of Point Zero last year.
Propably the mightiest remix ever made.
sounds hot
while i liked almost all of his own productions, i must say his remix of point zero is very overrated, actually it's nothing special. but then again, i can't stand the original.

Good thing also about Rickys stuff is it stays underground, and doesnt get hammered by Armin/PvD/Tiesto etc. Keeps it special IMO
haha yeah. as long as it stays away from the filthy fingers of Tiesto and Armin its good. Since as soon as the tunes are played by them every fucking Arminwannabee is hammering the same tunes. And the result is overplaying
yep, i actually think his remake of Point Zero is probly the best update a production could ever get. def. the sole reason for my purchasing the Maxi CD. Karma is also one of my fav. tunes from him which is groovier than most of his other tunes, yet still retains that signature style of his.
im pretty excited about it too, as long as legato is left mostly alone!
*sick of these damn set rips!*
Can't wait for this.
Hell yeah !!
Legato, Electra and his remix of Vincent De Moor's "Flowtation" are my favourite tracks from him.
I guess there's not much chance this'll see a US release? Man... I hate having to import albums (cost so much!).
this is definitly going to be one of the best releases in 2005
beat this armada

zzzzzz, albums like this are pointless, unless its all new material. Which won't come close to their older stuff.
Aka Moogwai/Airwave/MIKE/three drives...
zzzzz
^^ are you sure you know what you're talking about?

should be amazing, I love his dark and dirty sound with a passion. will any of his Orga stuff be on the album, or just The Digital Blonde?
