Tranquility Base - Razor Fish (Another Day's Epic Remix) [192 kbps/Uplifting Trance]

I find uplifting kinda cheezy this days but still I got an uplifting remix of it.
I hope it's better then some of the crap that is released today.

Sweet intro. Lots of nice sounds there.
Didn't excpect that kind of kick/conga there, I don't feel it fits with the intro. I like your bass. The panning in the closed hihats are a little too much. The breakdown was allright, so was the main part, just a little boring... Outtro, cool, I still like your bass

hey pretty nice remix man,

nice ambiance in the beginning. the track definitly has a chilly minimalistic touch to it, more than uplifting i'd say.

overall, two things: i think your sounds need some fattening. and i think that your lead at 5:50 doesnt fit with the mood of the track

Alright, first of all, nice remix there, good work
Overall nice tune, but maybe need the little "something extra," a lead or "fx-lead" in the early part of the track...
Keep it up!

Good elements in this remix mate. I like the atmosphere of the reverbed pers. A bit of a sudden change around 3:30.. maybe let the percs stay.

Well we're listening a while now, but nothing has really happened, this needs more to hold my attention. Another hat layer or more tiny percs may helps. Pads and bass sounds are pretty flat, doesn't make the mix very alive or full. Ok melody comes in now. Too many low freqs on the lead here, try to cut them and your mix will be clearer. Have a look at the volume too, it's clipping here and there. Lower the output volume and then, for now, normalize and limit it with e.g. Cool Edit to raise volume and give it more power.

I think the remix is too long as well, just 7-7:30 minutes will do with this..

Keep up!

Nice job here!
Cool intro ambience. You got a lot of nice FXes working so well together. Very good synth design.
The breakbeat part in the beginning is nice but the beat is very loud compared to the ambience, I dont know if this was intended but I think in the breakbeat part you should use softer drums.
Nice congas there, very interesting the buildup itself was very long but didnt get boring at all.
Again, the pads and the ambience are nice, very soft and moody, but I'm still not 100% content with their relation to the very hard beat. This is getting lots of better when the other leads are fading in.

Wow, really nice uplifting break at 5:30-6:30... well done there.
I think the upper mid frequencies are a little too weak, it could probably sound brighter by boosting them a bit. Anyway, nice dreamy melody!
Another thing probably not so good, I think the lead synth sounds very thin and metallic. Think you can make it sound "fuller" somehow.
But this track sounds like you got lots of experience. Good sounding ambience, nice FX, great percussion, warm bass. Really good job
