Romi - A Dream Within A Dream (remix)

Hi,

I've been busy remixing an older track of mine. It's a very dreamy trancer with nice melodies. Tell me what you think of this one.

-nice bassdrum (maybe a little phatter)
-bass is quite good also
-vocal sample is nice too
-the synths are terrific
-i like the clap very much
-pads are good
-that thingy @ 1:23 comes in a bit loud, then blends in good with the other pads
-breakdown is cool...
-then the bassy kind of synth goes great wit the background

-i like the groove to the track
-i also like the melodies

8.5/10

good job.

ps. mind if you could hook me up with a remix pack/midi, so i could make my own progressive version (if ya want, thanks)

Normally I review and give small tips how to make a track better. But not in this case. Maybe I just have a good day I do not know but really I instantly fell in love with your track

Everything from A to Z is good about this track, perhaps the mastering could be done better though. The song does not sound as clear as it could i.m.o.

But really the whole song is magical. I love the leadsound, very original. I love the atmosphere, it is pure bliss. You should really get this track signed somewhere or send it to A State Of Trance, I am betting Armin van Buuren would love to hear this track.

Very well done mate, you are one heck of a producer.

really ncie tune romi , deffo your best one for sure. I love those dreamy sounds, nice progressive sound and i think your mastering is ok, percussion could be a bit clearer mayb.

Damn, I gotta agree with him as well.

What a beautiful track, long time I don't listen to Dreamy melodies, this is really relaxing, beautiful.

Great Work, this a track that I will keep.

Thx for the feedback. Really nice to see that people like my music, especially when it is in fact a remix of an older tune (it was allways one of my personal favorites though)

Holy Shit man.. dude Romi this track is 10 folds better than the original.. I like the production quality.. sure as hell sounds pro. Nice work man.. would have been better if it was a little more longer.. but well I know ur style and lets just say I'm gonna have to deal with shorter tracks! I'm glad I downloaded this. - defo nice melodies. those breakdowns sound great.
- not much to say really. i guess go over the programming and sound selection and like mentioned work on the overall mixdown and mastering
- personally, i'd change the bass to make it more original and groovy

Thanks for the reply Peter. I've uploaded a somewhat harder and imo better sounding mix of 'Another Reason' (changed some other things too like the kick and snare etc.). I will pm you for the link. I'm interested what you think of that one.
