If you are talking about executing a piece of software on a PC which is written for a Mac you are SOL. I have heard about emulators to get OS X running on x86 hardware but they get really crappy performance and since this is posted in the production forum it is probobly some audio software which would suffer badly.

You should still be able to read the contents of the DVD, like read .pdfs or play wav/aiff files.

yeh, crap, i figured it wouldn't be possible, but since i only use pc, and was given a mac program, i wondered if it was possible...so bloody annoying how the pc and mac versions are the same damn thing, but have to be encrypted differently to make them unuable with each other.

funny though cause the other way around is possible using Guest Pc.

Guest PC is another computer inside your Mac. That computer is an emulated x86 PC.

It is virtual, it has no separate monitor, mouse, keyboard or hard drive. It is just a Mac OS X program that allows you to install the Microsoft Windows operating system on your Mac and use the software developed only for Windows compatible computers.

Guest PC works just like a usual application and you can easily switch between Windows and Mac OS X desktops at will.

Unless the dvd is a hybrid you will not be able to run it
