Wow, I love Pro-53! =o)
I was reading about the Prophet-5 and fell in love with the rich sound. So I read about NI Pro-53 being a good emulation and tried it. I really love it...
Here's a little gay rhythm I made...reminds me of Balance 005 a little, hehe (not that Balance 005 is gay...just my rhythm).

Yeah, that's one bad-ass synth! I've used it for some time, and it amazes me every time I play it!

Pro 53 must be one of the best VSTis ever. I find it amazing that it was also one of the 1st commercially available VSTis and still nothing sounds quite as good.
I've played a prophet 5 and pro53 does sound amazing ... very close to the original ... the HP filter takes the P5 sound to another level. Pro53 is one of my favorites too

I can't wait to go back to the house...hopefully I'll have some time today to tweak away, hehe. Oh, one of the pilots that I work with told me he had a Prophet-5 in storage...but he cannot access it because then he would have to re-inventory all his stored goods and that would take too much time...military housing is a pain in the ass sometimes.
Anyone have any idea what synth do G&D use? I love all sounds they make.
I think I read here in TA that they used the built-in ones in Logic. I'll look...they probably use more things.
Give Dave Dresden a PM, seems like a good guy, will prolly tell you what he uses. Like they always say though, its the person behind the gear.
I like their style...very different...especially As The Rush Comes. If I was a female, that song would make me orgasm while moaning like a hyenna in heat. 
Hey guys, I programmed me a nice thick pad in Pro-53...I like it a lot. If I have time tomorrow, I'll tweak it some more to polish it.

Ha, I've been very lucky to have a little time off after work, since I'm sick and cannot fly. I won't have time for a full song...I do college also. =o)
I changed the pitch and added more reverb...maybe it sounds better now? =o)

It would be suitable here to say: "C_unt, I spent my time and went to bed late to make this sound and you have the nerve to ask me for it?" But no, I won't...I'll send it to you...PM me your e-mail address. By the way, this is the easiest sound to program in pretty much any synthie that has unison feature. =o)

I wrote "It would be suitable here to say:", I didn't say it per-say. Anyway, where did I write it took me all night? Going to bed late and taking all night are two different things. Try working 14 hours a day flying around and then working on aircraft; see if you find time early to play with the computer. Learn to read before posting stupid replies with the intent of instigation.

I re-did the pad...beefed it up a bit. Let me know if it sounds distorted...I did it at the hangar with some crappy Labtec speakers, haha.

I didn't call nobody ****...read again. And he's my buddy, so it was all in good fun what I wrote. And it's good that you're servicing Tornados on the ground. At least you didn't have to spend 13 months on Iraq dodging bullets and RPGs in a UH-60 Black Hawk and then coming here to Washington, D.C. on 24 hour contingency operations, haha. If you don't want to get flamed, keep your nose out of where it doesn't belong...or at least try to find out what's going on before acting like Mr. Super Hero.

I love the smell of fresh flame in the morning... smells like minty fresh "Pro 53".
Well, I get along with everybody here but there's always a few individuals that crave attention or something...they feel like instigating. Anyway, yeah, I cannot have enough of this synth. I'm still not satisfied with the pad. I have this weekend off so I'll definately work on the pad...tweak it some more. I'll try to make a nice soundset for my personal use and probably have it available for download if I use it and feel satisfied with it. =o)
I was wondering how the pad would sound with a rhythm...so I put together this crappy sample. I like it...I think I'll be using it in my next prod. =o)
