Yoji in Montreal?

I'm not sure if it's too early to be talking about another great DJ coming to Montreal, especially after that show Preach and Ferry put on... Which was just insane, to put it lightly...

HOWEVER

Being a fan of Yoji Biomehanika, I've noticed most of his gigs are in the UK and Japan (like most people have I'm sure) but as far as I can tell according to his site he does do shows elsewhere, and I think that he could sure as hell keep Montreal moving for a night and I'm sure we as Montrealers could appreciate the intensity of this crazy DJ, no?

I hope Aria will consider getting this dude in for a night! I'm sure the place would be packed!!!

If Yoji was at Aria... the place would get blown apart the way he spins!

I would so love to see him! Yoji "Hard Style" Biomahanika... omg i would die to get a picture with this crazy Japanese dude!

i would so cancel my trip if his going to Swirl.

Ya guys, Aria would probably have to renovate after but damn just imagine!!!

Hardstyle disco... Tales from the big room!!!

I've only ever heard the guy's stuff on my PC and my MP3 player, imagine him playing with a sick system like the one at Aria? I think my heart would explode but who cares!

Yoji in Montreal would be so mad...

Posted by fastmp3 on Apr-19-2005 03:04:

no disrespect but can you guys tell me what you like about hardstyle ?

Posted by Alex on Apr-19-2005 03:05:

Meh I'm into a bunch of DJs but I just like how intense Yoji is, I mean can you hoenstly deny you wouldn't be able to keep moving with Yoji up there spinning?

lol

do u listen to psytrance atleast?

Posted by Alex on Apr-19-2005 03:10:

The guy has a pink beard and hair at times, I mean... Come on... Plus his stuff actually really sounds good, no joke. Fast as it is, it's INSANELY catchy and would get even first time ravers/partiers dancing like CRAZY.

Posted by fastmp3 on Apr-19-2005 03:11:

no psytrance no hardstyle no hardtrance no hardhouse no hardtechno, anything that starts with hard i don't listen to.

but i do like techno, house, and a liiiiiittle bit of trance (the old stuff)

Posted by Alex on Apr-19-2005 03:14:

Aww it's a shame man if you were willing I could send you a track or two and you could form your opinion of the guy after you heard some of his stuff, I can't say I'm into hard stuff either APART from Yoji, because he plays fast, hard and GOOD.

If you want I can give you my email fastmp3 and I can send you a track or two, cause his stuff really is worth listening to even just once. But ya, up to you man.

HO COME ON !!!

The only reason why hardstyle still exists is to sell more Speeds !!

the human heart beats at 80 pulsations/minute

when you run a little bit the heart can reach 120 pulsations/minute

in a marathon final sprint the heart can reach 146 pulsations/minute

therefor anything above 146bpm is unhuman ... heck i can barely stand anything above 142bpm

that's my opinion

Haha I didnt say you hadn't man! And as to speeds being sold, I dunno if people could handle Yoji on speed...

Posted by malek on Apr-19-2005 03:19:

actually after a sprint, your heart goes around 160-180, unless your 55 years old.

Believe me

Go into small Hardstyle raves, and ask the kids there what they took that night

I'm thinking that the average would be around 2-3 speeds each !!!

Real music Shouldn't go over 140bpm ... and that's fast !!

Never taken speed and not planing to.... my friend he freaks out when his stoned listening to psytrance... i love psytrance i get high off it... guess its brain chemistry.

Posted by Alex on Apr-19-2005 03:23:

2-3 speeds each? Eesh

That seems like a lot, especially when listening to that kind of music, but I can't say I've been to a small hardstyle rave so me will take your word for it.

And btw cool sig fastmp3, you make that yourself man?
