Both are cheese...

but my first "real" trance song was Groove Coverage - Moonlight Shadow -> that makes me curious about "that" new kind of music --> some google search and I end up here!!!

I like Groove Coverage better than DJ Sammy.

It amazes me that the votes are almost tied, as DJ Sammy is better than Groove Coverage in every imaginable way. Productionwise most DJ Sammy tracks aren't too badly put together ("Appalachian Fall" is very listenable for example), while Groove Coverage use the tired old German hard cheese sound with incredibly tacky overblown synths, ugly hard distorted kickdrums and appalling vocals. There is simply no comparing the two. DJ Sammy may be bad, but he is the lesser of two evils by a world apart.

Groove Coverave is a guilty pleasure. I like them a lot more than I'd like to admit. DJ Sammy just gets on my nerves.
