Favor to ask about Theater Hookups

I am coming up for Victoria Day weekend with a friend of mine from Miami that LOVES the Theater...(and clubs too, but Theater on Saturday, clubbing on Sunday)

I don't know jack snot about the Theater in TO...

Any suggestions or hookups would be MOST appreciated!

I know this is not EDM related, but any replies would be very helpful...

Thanks my great TOTA friends!...

Thanks Fayraree!

Now I just need to find out what kind of good shows there are in TO...LOL

They have a discount ticket wicket (that was fun to type!) in Dundas Square - sorta like the big bastard one in Times Square.

Same day ticket sales only there however.

hi hi hi...so I'm a badass...LOL!!!

Thanks for watching out for me sista, but I think hotels work slightly differently I've done that before and they ask for an id or business card when you check in...

...on the other hand, if they give you online access to tickets with your user id/password as long as you stick in any address and credit card, you'll get your tickets!

Anyway, if anyone uses that and needs something just holla.

Girl you betta come out to DT...I wanna see you shake it...LOL!!!

My mom is good with shit like that. The discount came with her Reader's Digest subscription...

Have fun! See you soon brrrrrrrrrrother.

too late for the Ontario Sears Drama Festival showcase @ Hart House...

But don't go see Mamma Mia, I've heard it's a terrible show. And if your friend is a theatre person like me... they probably won't want to see that kind of show anyway

Can't hurt to check out a show by Tarragon

or some Theatre Passe Muraille

Factory Theatre might also have something running.

I second that. I had to see Mamma Mia twice as people bought tickets for special occasions and included me. I love live theatre but hated this production. My mom and her friends adored it though so it really depends on what your friend means by theatre when she says she likes it. I prefer the smaller rep theatre stuff and if that is the case with her these can be good sources...

If you want something fun, edgy and you are comfortable going to a gay theatre, Buddies and Badtimes always has something hilarious running. Drag shows etc.

I am out of the city visiting my folks in St. Caths at the moment but definitely keep the board posted when you have a heads up on theatre. Got to get back out there and support the local talent.

just an update on the auditon: went really well. Offers of admission for the theatre school come out mid-May! I can't wait!

Also, after my audition I had the race up to Bradford for a Sears Drama Festival performance and I won another Acting award! yeyeyeyeyey!
