Definetly this is not a tech trance at all.

This is progressive tune. Overall, you got nice stuff! Good job.!

Hey. Yeah, much more progressive than anything else and not bad progressive at that. Your 500Hz band seems to be up a little too high though and could also be 1500Hz band is up a little too high as well.
-Funky intro bass sound. I like it.
-Good rolling harmony/counter melody sound. Fits in very well.
-The hihat is up a little too high when it comes in first. You might want to cut back on the 8000Hz and up frequency on it as well as applying a soft reverb to it to get it to meld with the track more.
-Beautiful piano parts. Well done.
---------
-Wheres the melody? Ok, ok. If you want to consider this just a straight progressive track, then ok its good but I personally think it would be better as a progressive trance track with a heart stopping melody.

Overall, good track. Good progressions and few repeats, I like that. Keep working on it and it should turn out to be a pretty good track.
Grade A

Cheers,
Zac

Actually I have a lead melody, I just haven't put it in yet. I'm trying to fit it in nicely.

Hmmh, I'll have to check it out. I have really bad speakers, so its hard to tell sometimes.

I'll try that. Thanks for the detailed input.

0.40 nice piano
1.40 awesome ambiance.
what qualtity is this?? I wouldnt mind a higher quality version
1.55 good beat.
2.48 bass drum could be louder. Good selection of drum though.
3.33 hihat ok
3.48 nice layering.

7.32 that high pitch frequency sound isnt too good. I see how you are increasing it to uplift the song, but it is really is an awefull sound

That's it. I cant pick much more out of this. It is pretty damn good how it is.

Nice work eulerfx

Nice moody string intro, very good string sound. Very deep ambience in the beginning, very nice, the vocal sample fits perfectly. The piano fits well, though I think it could sound better when a bit clearer.
But a really awesome intro all in all!
Ok, coming to the actual track at 2:40. Very slow buildup, but it works... a great opener for a progressive set imo. I really love the atmosphere of this one.
The only thing a bit disturbing maybe to me is the arpeggio at 7:15. I like the idea but its getting quite intense, I'd try it with a bit more resonance or a higher cutoff in general, with lower frequencies turned down, because it kinda cuts off the piano.
Otherwise a really great track with well-used ambience. I absolutely love it. Keep it up!
