lemme know what do u think...
Hey. It looks very pretty but seems as if it wouldnt fit my style
. While I use most of the labeled instruments in there, I'd have a tough time not being able to see sound levels on all of the synths by looking at the first page in the FX window. There really is no need for using all 4 pages other than making it more difficult to see all the levels. Nice layout with the instruments but again, I'd have a problem not being able to click on any of the isntruments by looking at it with a brief glance. In other words, its pretty, but too cluttered and cumbersome but then again, thats just me
. Good job and good luck with your template though. If it works for you then I suppose I should say awesome work
.
Cheers,
Zac
wow, very good job...thanx for this man!
no problem.
remember to change your settings at the drums sections.
The compressor and stuff are just too general.
V 2 will be out soon.
@IDarkISwordI: Thats the way I always do it.
And I mix from the Step Sequncer.
wow, great one...it gave me few ideas how to organize my tracks
I hope it helps
Wow man this is awesome!
YOu have saved my life, now my tracks will be organised. I am forever in your debt
.
I will use this from now on my friend.
i find lots of times being orginised with a track helps alot. it really pays off on ease of moving around within the project. the only thing i wish is that the fl mixer had more sends as i use up alot just on my percussion. i like having a send for my hats claps kicks and various other things. however i belive that theres a problem with the fl mixer as when i start using it alot even with smart disable i can notice a genral slugginess within the mixer but i think this is due to that i have not updated to the latest release of flp5. but yeah i also like orginising my percussion very maticulsey(SP?) ie. have a group for intro perc, breaks, perc effects, main perc, ontro perc. i find that it all really pays off. however the one thing i do not do is break up my synths into strings/piano, leads, melodys and so on. i might have to try doing this.
when i first started really getting in depth with production i never labled shit and never orginised shit and i can say now that i do it makes a hell of a differnce on my work flow. plus when i ask for assistence from people they are more inclined to work with me since its all there for them to see where everything is. great template tho i must admit it looks nice.
i am not getting any sound for some reason when i use your template.
Though i can hear every sound in my production. There must be a setting i have omitted, anyone have any ideas?
Quite intelligent setup there!
I'll post my "template" soon! I'm also a advanced FL user.
Got a couple of ideas out of that template.
TIP
On "General settings" under "Setup" you can turn off "Auto channel naming" and then just drag and drop samples to the channels without loosing the original name of the channel.

awesome, thanks for sharing!
man
i tried this 1 quickly and it looks promesing!! nice 1.
but
why your drum patterns are only 4 bars lenght.. you cant put even clap to 4/4 beat.. it needs to be minimum 8 bars.. ok easy to correct
and
am i doing something wrong becouse those strings sections doesent have mixer slot.. theres only names but not connected to mixer.and when i press "take free slot from mixer"..it takes slot from drum (a) page
... drums and bass whitch i tried works correctly..
I didn't think I would reply to this thread... But Why do you need a template? imo, it only does you injustice than anything else. I always start off with a clean sheet. There's no forumla for good music.

theres no sound.. just separated channels.. named..pattern separation
some fx to aux bus.. spectrum analysers to masters..
only thing witch changed the sound is bassboost and compressor in bassdrum line wich you can turn off if you want..
and theres some reverbs in some channels but you dont have to use the eighter
so it's clean sheet.. now you don't have to do shitty works..
