songs that have lots of "sub-melodies"

I love choons like "Gill Norris - Forme" that have about 5 or 6 different melodies that go well together but are seperated through the song.

list as many as you can think of...

The 8th Wonder Of The World Likwit Vs. Espen Remix

You should check out some of Pleiadians old tunes, they have 7-8 melodies running simutaneously in some tracks. "Maia" is a good example. This is goa though, so don't bother if that isn't your cup of tea.

Is 'Goa' psych trance?

It may seem like it sometimes I think. I guess Goa is more melodic, whereas psy is more effect/synth driven.

Check out Astral Projection. They are superb.

ok, but i gotta warn ya that im really fussy when it comes to music that appeals to me. Even if a song has a great melody I will hate it if it has pathetic unFX'd drums.

but i'll check them out

The good stuff of AP sounds dated, but overall its great music.

Some suggestions:

Astral Projection - Searching for UFOs
Astral Projection - Mahadeva
Astral Projection - Ionized
Astral Projection - Aurora Borealis
Astral Projection - Anything Can Happen
Astral Projection - Another World
Astral Projection - Free Tibet
Astral Projection - Liquid Sun
Astral Projection - People Can Fly
Astral Projection - Visions of Nasca

I wouldn't say that Sultan uses many melodies in his tracks. His tracks are well produced and for me some of the best, but I don't think his tracks are what this guy is looking for.

Epsilon 9 -Lifeformation (Infernal Machine Mix) awsome song.
dj tiesto & dj montana - space shuffle - chaos
pqm -you are sleeping (pqm meets luke chable vocal mix)
alexander kowalski - belo horizonte
most of sashas stuff tbh (atleast 2-3 melodies in each)

can't think of anything more now, except the old classic yahel - voyage, always thought that one was like 2-3 songs in one.

Not necessarily 5 or 6 melodies, but one tune I always think of with multiple melodies is: Science Dept - Repercussion

The most random melodies all sort of jimmied together into some kinda song would be:

Astral Projection - Chaos (Bizzare Contact Remix)

Believe it or not, but PPK - ResuRection (Space Club Mix) has so much going on it's amazing. Listen carefully to the melodies and you might hear something you didn't before. Impressive track that got a bad rep around here.

It did?

Anyway, I like it great track and those layers do get crazy in the end. Thats my fave part...I don't really like that spacy lead in the beginning.

Well it seems to be lumped in with the "cheese" because it was accessible and played out. But yes, the lead early on is the weakest portion of the track.
