Romi - Paradise Calling 2005

Hi,

This is again a remake of an older track from me. After remixing 'A Dream Within A Dream' i thought this track should also be revamped. It's a littlebit like ADWAD. It's also very dreamy with a lot of emotion. It has allways been one of my personal favorites but i allways thought it could sound a lot more pro. It think it sounds much better now imo. Sorry, only a sample for now (don't worry, it's the best part ).

A more complete version (lq) can be heard here:

Tell me what you think and if you got any comments or tips, just say so.

Gr.

i pretty much like this one, although i would advise you to tweak the middle frequencies a lot + the bassline need to be a lot clearer in my opinion (maybe reduce the delay/reverb from it + eq also could help) the track lacks in body, otherwise, the kick is really good, i like the melody + effects, those are really your strong points,

all in all, i like this a lot, just need to fix some things on the bassline + mixing, and it will be all good,

Hey. Wow, exquisite track layout.

-It could be extended a lot so theres more of a club intro into the song but not bad. (edit: sounds like this is a demo, statement revoked.)
-I really like this first synth you lay down though. Its a very pleasing sound.
-The break is just as awesome.
-Some masting could be done to enhance the clarity of the track.
-Good use of pads.

All around, sounds as if it could be a really nice track. Your last shots have been pretty impressive Romi. It's always nice to hear what you have up for downlaod from week to week because I dont think I've heard a track of yours that I didnt like .
Grade A

Cheers,
Zac

- overall, i like the beat/hats/bass - very energetic
- in the break, those delayed melodies in the background should be louder, because they sound really nice
- there should be more tension before the kick comes back

Thanks for the comments Mycron, IDarkISwordI and eulerfx. Yes, i agree with most of the critic you guys are talking about. I definatly take a look at those things such as the mastering and a better tension before the climax (i'm also not totally happy with that now, not fugured it out yet how to make it better, any tips?) etc, thanks for the tips.

@eulerfx: Which delayed melodies in the break do you mean exactly, is it the leadmelodysynth or another one?
