The Thrillseekers - Synthesthasia

En-Motion Remix > Ferry Corsten Remix

Thoughts?

Corsten remix always blows my head off

Posted by retrobyte on Apr-22-2005 07:23:

I think the Pulsar is pretty good myself, but Ferry is always gold to me.

Big Ears

Ferry! and the Original.

I'm afriad I have to disagree, there's nothing wrong with the En-Motion remix, but Ferry's is simply sublime to a level most tracks can't hope to match.

i prefer the pulsar rmx. the ferry corsten one seems really bland

Posted by i got big pants on Apr-22-2005 09:02:

very true...but from the remixes ive heard...its the better one

Posted by RebeL9 on Apr-22-2005 09:02:

when I first heard the Ferry remix I thought it was a joke. How can one fail so badly with a nice tune like Synthesthasia?

Posted by Omega_Blue on Apr-22-2005 09:04:

the ferry corsten remix is probably the most stomach-able. i disliked the en-motion mix... and the original... my god the vocals aren't so bad at the beginning, but at the end... argh.

Posted by Lebezniatnikov on Apr-22-2005 13:52:

As far as Ferry remixes go, I think Synesthesia is probably tops for me. Lately at least.

Posted by starglider on Apr-22-2005 14:33:

The new mixes of Synaesthesia were an atrocity. It's a bit sad that all the remixers managed to put out seemingly identical versions of a track that had so much potential. But oh well, it seems they were popular enough (in particular Ferry's yawn-inducing effort).

PvD Dub > En Motion Remix > *

Posted by aloep on Apr-22-2005 14:45:

The Paul van Dyk Dub is the only mix that comes close to the En Motion Remix in my opinion. As for the Ferry Corsten Remix, it's only marginally better than the Darude vs JS16 remix and that's hardly a compliment.

Posted by PlasticSoul on Apr-22-2005 15:12:

I think the ferry mix is more to drop in a club, but to listen to carefully and feel the a bit melancholics and the captivating sounds, I prefer the en motion mix... it fits better in albums...
This tune is classic cus the en motion mix...

Posted by nyron on Apr-22-2005 15:13:

imo En-Motion Remix is a way better...

Posted by keithos27 on Apr-22-2005 15:32:

Original Thrillseekers Club Mix is the best one... then I'd probably rate Ferry's 2004 remix next.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Apr-22-2005 15:49:

Interesting. I definitely think that the En-Motion Mix would work a lot better in the club then the Ferry Corsten mix would.

1. PVD Remix
2. Alaska Sunsets Mix
3. Ferrys Remix

Posted by gizzymcg on Apr-22-2005 16:36:

As a club tune Ferry's mix pisses over all the others. Bags of energy and is simply an awesome feel good piece of trance.

I quite liked the Mesh remix myself. A little more laid back effort than the others.

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Apr-22-2005 20:07:

1. Vandit Mix
2. PvD Dub
3. En-Motion Mix

The rest are dog shit imo, with Ferry's being the most offensive.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Apr-22-2005 20:33:

Yeah, I just dont know about Ferry's mix. Every time I listen to it I feel like that I am listening to a MIDI.
