well heres a tune i started a while ago but only recently been working on it. it was meant to be progressive but ended up quite trancy.

- percs are a little too common in intro and they seem kind of detached from the track, and u should change that clap.
- bass + synth sound pretty good, but they repeat too much. its pretty much the same thing for 2 minutes
- the breakdown is a bit empty. add noise fx in there to give some atmosphere and drive, so the kick doesnt come back too suddenly
- overall, i think this is a good start, but you should keep working to add more elements, i.e. make the strings louder.

yea, i struggle with drumloops :/ i'll have to listen to alot more commercial stuff.

Hey Mark,

Sounds pretty cool.

I think that melody that repeats from the beginning could use a little variation. And background pads are greatley missed

I like the dirty bass that comes in after 1:30.

I think overall the tune needs a little more variation, especially in the percs. I like the 'sticky' rim shot loop - that's funky.

You've got the right idea - keep at it!
