Loop slicing tool

What is the most powerful loop slicing tool to use to chop up beats?

Two to try:

BeatSlicer (do a search... - FL Studio has a slimmed down version of this slicer incorporated too. Not sure what your sequencer is tho.)

Recycle - propellerhead's loop slicer. Supposedly pretty good.

I just use the Fruity slicer included with FL. It does all I need it to.

Recycle is good, especially if you're using Reason, so you can then controll each sample through midi.

i've heard native instruments 'intakt' was really good, i might be giving this a whirl soon.

For use in cubase:
Phatmatic pro (VSTi)
NI Intakt (VSTi)
Recycle (because cubase supports .rex files)

FLStudio:
None (it's internal generator fruity slicer RULeZZ!)

How do i create a perfect loop?
Example:
When i manually cut a part of 8 beats out of a track and drag-drop it into the FL playlist, it wont detect it as an 8 beats loop but as a 8.0245 beat track or a 7.9867 beat track...... So it wont fit into my FL tracks (it will become offbeat eventually), what should i do to make them exactly 8 beats???

My guess is i need a special program to cut 8 beats out of a song to create the perfect loop... I already used mixmeister pro with snapping mode on, but even then the loop was not good... What program do i need for perfect loop cutting???

Cheers 4am and LfmC, fruity slicer does indeed rule. Its the first time i've used it and it kicks ass!
