FL5 Automation problem
I have hit a problem in a track that I am working on. Basically at a point during the song, about 4 tracks mute themselves and the green lights go off in the step sequencer window. I have no idea where I can change these commands, does anybody know how I can get rid of these controls, so that the channels stay switched on?
Thx.

You probably accidently hit record during mixing.
Muting the channels was recorded and now you have to delete that automation. This can be tricky as you don't know witch pattern you recorded it on. Here's an idea: go into song mode and go to the place in the song where your channel was muted (as precise as posible). Choose pattern 1. Now right click the green light and go to edit events. Now switch patterns (using the "+" key) untill you find an event drawn. When you find it press ctrl+a, and press delete. Now do the same for the other channels.
That should fix it.
Thankx m8, I'll let u know when I've fixed it. Cheers for the help.

I;m baffled. I found one event on the kick channel and deleted it. But everythings still the same. Basically, at 176.07 in the song 7 instruments turn themselves off. I've checked all the patterns on all the offending VSTi's and the others. I'm well and truly stuck.

In the fruity browser under "automation" is all the recorded automation. Check there to see if you really accidentaly recorded something. The only other possiblity I can think of is a faulty VST effect. Try bypassing the effects to isolate the problem.
Good luck.
I click on automation but nothing happens, it won't let me expand it, even when I right click and select expand folder. Does that mean theres nothing in there? And if thats the case, what is causing those 7 channels to turn off? AAARRRGGGHHHH!

EDIT: When I hover over the automation folder in the browser it says 2 things: 1. Drop these on event editors and 2. the directory is empty. Any ideas?
True..
(I don't know if I'm saying this 100% right cause I can't check it cause there ain't no fruity on this crappy laptop at my parents'.. Sooo..)
Click current project in the tree (LfmC forgot this). Click Automation. All created automation is listed there. Very useful option; stop searching your automations!

EXCELLENT. I've found them, but how do I delete them?
EDIT: I clicked on the logo in the top left corner of the event editor window and deleted all. Cheers bud, I'm back on track now.
