What a night is all I can say, the crowd was great and the tracks ferry was spinning were unbelievable. When he played "till there was you I had to go to the dancefloor". There was room to dance too. It topped it all off when I got my shirt signed by him. I'll post the picture of it later. Plush was really nice and I'm looking forward to more shows in there. Hats off to twisted for putting it all together. The one thing that I missed were the green lasers, i noticed that there was someone with a pen one but thats\ was it. the dj both set up was great as everyone could see what was going on from everywhere. I know that I will see ferry again next time he comes out west....

To be honest I didn't even think about getting it signed and when I went up there he had a pen. here is the picture sorry about the size, I had trouble shrinking it down without distorting it to much

all night I awaited sweet sorrow.

I didin't hear it, I went out for maybe, 3 smoke breaks. In that time he must of played it, because when he was trying to pick his last track I said "I haven't heard sweet sorrow!" and he said he played it, and to pay attention. :|

yuo should have kicked him in the junk, then told him to "pay attention"

What I tell ya, what I tell ya. Ferry never disappoints

Got there around 11:30ish and Ferry was just walking in the door ahead of us. Perfect timing! Went right to the stage and got some pics with Ferry. that was cool. He's such a little dude.

Started out awesome! playing some nice softer trance tunes, but full of energy. Now I need to find all those tracks and figure out which ones were which.

Busted out pretty hard most of the night, but once he dropped Punk, it was over! Highlight of the night by far! Everyone in the crowd started "da-dada-da" along to punk... and the WHOLE way throught the whole song! it was awesome! Then I found that once that was over, he started getting into his more mainstream type stuff like "It's Time". Whatever. it became a little, ummmmmm, "longwinded" after that.

Anyway, why is Plush so Hit and Miss with thier soundsystem? the sound was pretty bad I found. Very distorted. Sounded better behind the stage.

The cd player was fucking up a bit. Skipping tracks, making them about minute longer than usual. Use Goddamn Vinyls! but I'm not about to start the ragging

When it was all done and over, what a great night!

other words...
The only Gouryella track was Tenshi!
WHAT WAS THAT FREAKING REMIX OF LETHAL INDUSTRY???
Ferry's mixing was unfuckingbelievable!
What's with the guy and the waterbottle on his head at every party now?
DAMN... was there ever alot of hot girls there! Wish I didn't get so stoned because I got all paranoid and thought they were starring at me because they thought I was high I'm such a dumbass.
*reminder Kris* next time cute girls dance beside you... TALK TO THEM!
lol

I was wondering about the same.. Even though this was my first "club night" after my move in.

Otherwise known as Fan-Man.
His name is long, and he loves trance. :|

and there were times when i wanted to punch him in the face

i had a great time. probably havent enjoyed myself since the first time ferry came to plush couple of years ago. he droped a bomb after bomb after bomb, from start till finish, for three hours straight. i think everyone already said everything there was to say about the night. it was great, the place was going crazy. it was packed in there, good thing the area behind the DJ was open, there was some breathing room up there. the upstairs was open too, really nice view of the club. lasers were missing in action but things looked fairly neat anyways.

there are two tracks that i'm dying to know the names. one sounded like it couldve been a bootleg. it had bits of tiesto's lethal industry but also some female vocals, sounded really nice. and the other track sounded hell of a lot like adagio for strings, but it wasnt. new remix possibly?

overall, the set sounded a bit classic i guess, for a lack of a better word. quite a few older tunes, also a number of what sounded like new tracks but with the older feel to them, late 90s, early 2000 'ish. it all sounded the way true trance was destined to sound.

i did take pictures, but i havent had the time to ul them yet. they'll be up in the next couple of days

I think he loves the fact he escaped from circus and trying to earn some Fan "Support"

And yes, that musta been a bootleg of Lethal Industry, totally caught my attention. I was just about to go sit down and I heard it come on.... oh my trademark track surprises me once again *dies*

OMG. that was the best set I've ever heard in my life...
track after track. All we could say was unbelievable and flawless.
I got the privlege to talk to him and he said he will have a new cd by the end of this year.

Serious... he is awesome. what other DJ in the top 10 plays over 50% of his own tracks that he either remixed or produced?
Track after track.... WOW!

his set in Edmonton was just as good a few diffrent tracks, but still the same energy.

He had a smile on the entire time at that club. danced the entire time he was there. was getting hounded by everyone and still did not mind.
remember oakenfold everyone? hahahah what a joke.

Next up. ARMIN!!! but I don't think armin can even top this performance.
btw lol. consider it a compliment that he told you to pay attention and didn't tell you to fuck off! and please don't take that as an attack.

well it was rude that he said it. I mean, there's other things going around in the club other then HIM. I don't know, a simple "sorry, already played" would be sufficient.

Posted by apri_peel on Apr-27-2005 22:02:

lol
i think he was trying to be funny

Posted by anjew on Apr-27-2005 23:10:

yeah man, I don't think he was trying to spite you.
I think you just took it the wrong way.

You never know though... he could have been just as excited as you! and wanted to drop it at just the right time, and surprise the shit outta ya???

I know what it's like as a DJ to get asked, over and over again to play a particular song, and you end up giving redundant answers and you don't mean too
e.g. people always asking me to play Born Slippy, right again. and when someone asks me to play it, all and of the sudden I have this new remix in my bag I'm waiting for the opportunity to play,, and please someone.
So I tell that someone, "just you wait!", and it could be taken totally out of context.
Kinda along the same lines *shrugs*

Anyway, as we saw Ferry getting into the car, (i felt like a starstruck idiot talking to him) but I saw he was really appriciatiative of the good things people have to say to him! Doesn't seem like to guy to "putoff" like he did to you Neoh.
Shrug it off, as I'm sure you did

I might have tracked down the name of the bootleg with Lethal Industry in it..... Paul Oakenfold featuring Perryl vs. Tisto - Time of your life vs. Lethal Industry (Shane 54 Mix vs. Original Mix)
