Review: Eddie Halliwell and Mark oliver @ Guv
eddie is not just a dj but a performer, he put on an incredible show with awesome track selection, great mixing and scratching. those that missed him were fools.
as for mark olivers opening set, for once i was dissapointed by mark. still played some awesome house songs but the set seemed to be lacking somthing.
oh man im soo tired now. im gonna pass out, more to come tomorrow

Mark Oliver did a great warm up set to get the crowd ready for EH and for the very first time in a while there was actually a flawless transition of Energy from Mark to Eddie H..

Oh my God What a great Set by Eddie. I knew he would not dissapoint. It was a shame the crowd did not respond to him that well, I think I was the only one yelling Eddie, Eddie, Eddie on stage. There were some dudes with a British flag too, Props to them. There were alot of songs that he played from his 2004 Essential set but who gives a rats ass, FUUUUUCKING sick. I can't wait for this man to come back.
For those who missed this You missed out BIG TIME!!!

Got in the Guv a bit late, around 3am. Eddie was droppin some hard tunes, but too much monkeying around with the tracks if u ask me. MO stole the show once again with a smooth transition from the heavy techtrance sounds to some proppa trance.
Shoutouts to everyone who was there. Thx you very much Andrea for the ride, always a pleasure dancing it up with a girl of such caliber!
MagicB & Karim, awsome chillin with u two, sorry for gettin u guys a lil bit lost on the way here (even tho it was andrea's fault 
) . Hope you two had no problems following my directions to the highway.

Damn! Sounds like this was an awesome night out! My compadre and I left to go back to Detroit - too much dancing for us....then ended up at Speedy J last night instead.

Well the night was a little nuts. First of all, me and Jenn (MagikB) by chance met up to go to the club because she didn't wanna go alone and I didn't have a ride. So me and her leave for republik at around 1:45-2ish
We get there, and it's emptied out. I met up with my buddy mike and some of his volleyball buddies and we go in. By the minute, you see the crowd thin, and thin some more. Before you know it, we are literally the only people left. The owners pulled the plug.
We got our pictures taken with D:fuse and then bounced. Shoutouts to Tatgirl and Swamper (great meeting you man).
We head down on over to Guv, where we were expecting to run into Ub3rtrancer, and Andrea because andrea told me she was going to Guv earlier last week. We get there and the crowd size was just right. I run into my buddy Justin there (soon to be a Tranceaddict) and saw Baki and a few other TA's.
The music was great. Especially the last hour or so. Highlight track for me was: The Killers - Mr. Brightside (White Dukes Remix)
Also, he dropped: Solar Stone - 7 Cities, perhaps the armin mix.

I got a little....um...unbalanced..so we left around 3:30, but the friends from KW had an amazing good time. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
Ya well some friends had a ball en blanc party last night. As we were on the esplande and could see guvernment from his rooftop we were like ok lets go see eddie.
Wicked night alot of good tunes and I have to admit the guv sound system is perfect for hard dance. Crowd was a bit much, last night. Also it was kinda packed as well.
The one thing I didint quite like though was 10 minutes of sound effects eddie would drop on some tracks. Like its sorta fun for like 2 mins tops but...after you stand around listening to him distort a tune for 20 mins you get bored.
oh well i had fun though still and partying sober is the way to go

Eddie laid down some sick beats......at one point I completely lost the ability to move.
The night started out slow but MO picked it up and got everyone ready for Eddie....ah sh!t that rhymns. Eddie played some really hard beats and I could tell many of the ginos were lost and had no idea what to do.
The light show was awesome.....the best I have seen at the Guv.
Moral Hazard....you missed one hell of a show.
Hmmmmm...Andrea + Daniele = HOT!!!! (As always!)
Ended up missing both those parties cause of a whole bunch of reasons, dissapointing 
, but I'm really glad to hear everyone had a wonderful time

Im still in shock. Halliwell really hammered it. I was watching him scratch trance. Unfuknebelievable. And it worked so well too.
In my 7 years of partying, there are 2 sets that really stick out in my mind, Dave White from slinky a few years ago and Halliwell on saturday. I wont forget this one anytime soon. I mean the shit he dared to do just blew me away. I needed a wheel chair by the end of the night.
For me, Bond, Hardawick, ornadel and halliwell can give me that true UK club kick in the ass set.
No more avb / tiesto cheese for me.
