If you had the chance........
what would you choose?
reason 3.0, i never liked calkwalk, always prefered cubase eons ahead of it. and the new reason looks slick!
I'm growing out of reason...fast! As a result I'm always keen to try alternative methods, but I'm not sure if Project 5's gonna be a significant step.

FL Studio all the way!
At least till I get my own studio!
Then it's ProTools!
FLStudio, till I'll learn how to use Reason
Reason is easier to use than FL in my opinion.
FL confuses the fuck out of me. I honestly can't understand why anyone would want to use it. It looks so cheap and commercial.
Reason & Cubase all the way
(here comes the FL Clan come backs)
Excuse me.
Has anyone even tried the NEW Project5? Its not even anything like the last one. Only the name. Cake didnt want to appear like they were abandoning one of there products... so they kept the name.
But believe me. Ask this question in a year and THEN you'll see P5 will have left an indelible mark in the production industry!
Its NOT cubase or sonar... so why are you comparing them? REASON, FL, LIVE4... they are comparable.
CUBASE, SONAR, NUENDO...they dont fit this poll. To my way of thinking they are completely different. Anyone using Cubase or Sonar can tell you they always use it with another app rewired to it, like Reason.
The poll should have given the obvious choices instead of just 2 + other.
- REASON
- LIVE4
- FL5
- Project5
- Other
But then again...this looks like another popularity contest. How can you guys even include P5 in this!
NO ONE EVEN HAS A COPY YET (well...okay...some of us do!
)
PFFFT... not a fair shake at all is it?
cueeeeeeeeeeeeebaseeeeeeee
yeah alright sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i like project 5 v2 demo alot! i am using this poll to see from my options what people would choose. sorry for being narrow, atleast i included P5V2 in your case cause i know how much you like it, i have seen your posts on the P5V2 forum.
of course sonar and cubase dont fit the poll i never even had an option for it!
if you dont like niether then select other and specify if u want to.
FL STUDIO right now, but im looking forward to checking out project 5 v2 very soon.

DO YOU WANT A NEW POLL GUYS, SORRY!
virbulis,
I didnt mean to come across that way...
I do tend to get a tad protective dont I ?!
I only meant that its too new to have P5v2 even listed cuz nobody here even HAS IT YET!! (okay, well my copy arrived today and its now available in stores but....) you see my point. Its one thing to have a poll about what you use, but this will surely make P5v2 look lame cuz no one can choose it yet!
as far as im concerned fruity loops all the way, id rather take cheap and commercial looking over trendy looking anyday. plus fuck where would i be without vsti support. reason is a crock of shit compared to more open hosts. personally i like fruity loops alot especially the fact that i cna use buzz effect adapters and buzz genrators and ive come to use them alot these days. fl is far more powerfull then most people give it credit for. now for people saying imma learn fl studio then learn reason. my thing is why bother if your going to learn one learn one dont switch. thus bringing me to why i dont use reason its a pain to rewire and cuts its usabilty in half plus i just dont like the layout and the fact its a closed host.
