wait, wtf is that track so loud outside?

i was just sitting here in front of the PC when i hear a very loud track outside.... by Ullrich Schnauss?!

it's this fashion event near to my house, they went on to some cheesy crap, to some house and now a boring stupid ballad.

discuss.

edit: ok, to make this thread remotely interesting, when was the last time you heard an obscure track you liked at a random place?

I was sitting in my dorm room and I heard someone in the parking lot blasting a couple tunes from Magik 6. I heard a bit of Voyage and then whoever it was skipped to Silence. I wanted to run out there and see who was playing it cause I've yet to find anyone at my school who is into EDM. Heh

My girl heard Rock Your Body, Rock in Gadzooks once too.

there was some guy who blasted Sven V�th - Design music (Legowelt remix) in his car right outside here once. I thought it was pretty cool

once on the airplane between phila and LA i heard heaven on the airplane radio... it was random.

somewhere else... i randomly hear the 4 beat bass sometimes while walking around town... thats cool to just hear

I just heard lots of Airdrawndagger tracks in a tv journal, it was about steal money of older people, I mean grandmothers, for example...
using banks...

I think I heard an Aphex Twin track in a TV show once... off Selected Ambient Works Vol. 1. It was a show about old people too, lol... I was like "yeah, this has got to be Aphex Twin".

i heard chicane - saltwater on a tv commercial for some travelling agency

I heard Darude - Sandstorm over my school P.A system when i was sitting in class




Then everyone in my class stops and looks at me since everyone knows im the weird guy that listen to repetitive electronic music.....or "TECHNO" as they like to call it and they expect me to dance for them

I just put my head in shame and told my self why wont this faggs play any good EDM over the P.A System

in my computer mainenance class when anything that isnt rap,rock, or country gets played everyone looks to me expecting me to whip out the glowsticks and swing em around

what really gets me tho is that instead of telling me to dance they wave their hands around like idiots and tell me to "rave"

i heard parade of the athletes in a jack and jones shop here in barcelona. was a lot of fun just sitting int here listening to themusic. hehe heard some other trance in some other shops here in barcelona but thats the one that stands out.

i was in a bar the other week and some1's phone went off and i was expecting some fucking annoying ringtone but to my surprise it was Mauro Picotto - Dark Room. very random but damn cool at the same time, i just gave him a knowing nod

also related: at starbucks, where i work, on one of the cds we play there's this celtic song
and it came on, and i just kinda stopped in my tracks and listened instinctively
then realized it was the choral part chicane sampled in saltwater

damn starbucks using weird technologies so you can't read their music cds if you steal them

Skating at a public outdoor icerink I heard Tiesto - Traffic.

All I could think of was "ugh, soooo overplayed"

A few songs later was Chemical Brothers - Block Rockin Beats, lol. I was like "whoa, havent heard this one in like forever"

That song is "Harry's Game" by Clannad. This original version is better than the Chicane track, nice and chilled out. The story goes that Bono (U2) almost crashed his car when he heard it on the radio for the first time!!!
