Six Senses New Trancetrack Preview 128kb

Hi fellow producers,

I'm currently producing a new track. I thought i'd post a preview for you out here, because i can really use your opinions. This is the link:

trancetrackpreview

Maybe some suggestions on the track?

It's completely produced in Reason 3.0

Liking this a lot, excellent production although just for the sake of perfectionism I'd say you might want to have a look at how it's mastered with reference to the treble/bass balance - it's slightly heavier on the top end at the moment.

Excellent breakdown, very nice tune, progression, etc and all those other musical things everyone talks about

Hey,
Listening ... Great intro, very pro, the synth that appears a lil bit is a very nice touch also. Breakdown, drama, oh yeah baby :P, that strings at the breakdown are pretty deep, they sound not like the rest of the strings used at Trance, actually they sound to me like a breakdown from classical music, after the breakdown, I think lacks a bit of energy and variation, I was expecting something diferent than the first part, but u did almost the same, just added the strings, I just would work on that a bit more, but that's just my very personal taste man.
In overall, very pro sound, buildup, I am sure this will be a kick ass track when done, keep ous updated man plz, great job .

Thnx guys for your comments,

I will keep you informed with some updates.

Any one else?

very nice production, the energy is jumping out this track
the break&melody are nice, good lead and beautifull pads.
This is a high quality track and i like it very much. I have to say that the track has nothing special(not very original) but it rocks and that matters

Posted by six senses on Apr-26-2005 12:12:

Thanx guys,

Got any further tips for the track, maybe after the break a souring extra melodie or something?

greetz,

Sebastiaan

Hey!

Cool track. Been mentioned before, look at the mastering, in particular the eq of the track! other than that id say u are onto a winner

Cheers mate

Great one. Very cool break, those strings sound really great, cool melody also. Well, nothing to comlain here, a very good track with the right sounds and emotional melodies, just the way i like them.

Nice track.
Personally I find the kick a thumps through the mix just a touch too much... personaly opinion mind.
Other than that... great stuff.

Cheers

w00t this is amazing! sounds very pro! it's well mastered, melodies are nice. only thing i don't like is the percussion.. it's a little standard/empty anyway, keep up the great work!

cheers
Renco

Thanx erybody for the reviews. Thanx for the tips. I'm going to add some better percussion elements. Maybe i'm going to add an extra arp. Some more suggestions?

Cheers,

Sebastiaan

Yeah ditto on that, the treble is a bit vicious. Maybe try some delays or phasing on the percussion to make the crescendos build more dynamically too.

Cool track though, does all the things one would expect from a peak timer.

Thanx Tiestoisgod. I'm working hard to get this track turn into a peaktime trancer. Hopefully it's going to be picked up by some djs.

Hey six,

Sounds pretty full, good thing. There's some EQ things that caught my first attention. The highs are just too upfront and theyre a bit muddy.. there's some sort of hiss/noise over the whole which makes it muddy in the higher spectrum. It also removes the crisp sound from the leads. It reminds me a bit of the sunquests tracks, maybe because it's reason, but you should look at the eq of the instruments of the higher freqs.

Other than that, pretty cool track, I like it!!

agreed, with Jay on the highs, you should take a look on that spectrum,

cool bassline, i like the percussion, nothing wrong with it in my opinion, cool melody, although i would change a few notes, maybe, sweet strings, i would use some light pads or something in the main part, but thats just personal preference, i guess

overall, really good clean production , mate, great job

now, i go back to my inner thoughts remix

Rasta amazin demo

dude.... im really impressed with track.... all the sounds are there....sounds very prof, being a artist and engineer is a tricky combo.... but i think u have done well...it is very hard to well whether a track is mastered etc at 128

i have been a raver for 5-6 years and only got into producing for last year.... i heard your track at lunch time today and what can i say it made me buzz

best of lucky and if your feeling generous could you give me some tips cau i really like your sound

Posted by Stino on Apr-28-2005 20:49:

very nice track! i think your melody progression is pretty original but ur main synth should rock way more, let it go loose more, more release on it, more decay.....other then that, top class stuff.

Posted by six senses on Apr-29-2005 09:02:

Thanx guys! Highly appreciated!

and thanx for the tips on the track Stino. I'm going to work on the main lead this afternoon. Hopefully it will become a track with potential.

Greetz,

Sebastiaan
