Did USA landed on the moon? (video)

ok,
so I had a little debate with couple of friends about USA, and how they can (among other things) manipulate law to their advantage
Strange enough - everyone seemed to agree on this one thing : They DID land on the moon. chek these out

Back then the cold war was at its peak (USSR-US) and obviously it was a very strategic move (russia sent the FIRST ; man, woman, animal in space).
Its bizzare though how everyone seemed to assume that conspiracy was not even an option on a subject of such scale...

Russia did pretty much everything first Except land a man on the moon...they had moon crawlers on the moon before the US too... Although I'm sure that they (US) DID land a man on the moon...

it's impossible for a man to land on the moon. even now.

I watched a documentry about it, and there's a big cult that thinks it's all a big consperiracy that the US landed on the moon. They had this whole thing going about how the film would have been destroyed by the radiation ect. Anyway they got a bunch of film/photography experts who analysed all the video and photographs from the moon landings. They did a good job of it in an unbiased way and proved that the only place they could have done these photos was the moon. That was enought to convince be but....

The biggest thing here, proving that it did indeed happen. The russians and the US were always knew what eachother were doing. If the US had lied about landing on the moon the Russian for sure would have called them on their bluff. In the cold war the US couldn;t have gotten away with facking the whole thing. Soooo....The US did land on the moon.

Tag, I have to partially agree with you. I easily imagine Russia making every possible effort to retrive that BIG evidence that prooves it all. But its not as easy as you and I think. They need some bulletprooof evidence or they gonna simply pass for crying underacheivers...

All I know is that most people just assumed with eyes closed. These pictures without any STARS are not making me too confident either

either way, I can tell you one thing for certain:

Canada has not landed on the moon.

Posted by malek on Apr-29-2005 04:52:

the thing is they did land on the moon, but the images people saw in 69 were done in a studio.

Ouais moi aussi je crois que cette option est possible...
J'ai vu un reportage la-dessus
mais bon, je ne crois pas que l'on sera la vrit un jour...

come on guys.....

The problem is not landing on the moon, the problem is actually getting there, alive. See, the radiation level once u travel far in space becomes very very high. No humans can survive it unless there is enough material to protect us from radiation. Calculations were done and scientists estimated an aproximate thinkness of walls of the shuttle required to guarantee safety will result in extreme weight. Something probably wouldnt fly back then.

Now lets say they did land there, why no one ever went there back? Russians knew right away there is no point senting anyone there, no one will return alive, or will live for a day or two, then fall apart.

Here is something i found:

The Van Allen Belt's Impact on Space Travel
Solar cells, integrated circuits, and sensors can be damaged by radiation. In 1962, the Van Allen belts were temporarily amplified by a high-altitude nuclear explosion and several satellites ceased operation. Magnetic storms occasionally damage electronic components on spacecraft. Miniaturization and digitization of electronics and logic circuits have made satellites more vulnerable to radiation, as incoming ions may be as large as the circuit's charge. The Hubble Space Telescope, among other satellites, often has its sensors turned off when passing through regions of intense radiation.

A object satellite shielded by 3 mm of aluminum will receive about 2500 rem (3) (25 Sv) per year.

Conspiracy theorists have argued that space travel to the moon is impossible because the Van Allen radiation would kill or incapacitate an astronaut who made the trip. In practice, even at the peak of the belts, one could live for several months without receiving a lethal dose.
