In your opinions, what are the best pc games?

Why am I asking here instead of the gaming forum?

Too slow of responses and I'm going to the mall in 10 minutes so I need to know quick.

If you can find it in the bargain bin or whatever (as it's a few years old), get Sacrifice by Shiny Entertainment....same guys that did Earthworm Jim.

Or get Total Annihilation, awesome physics-based real time strategy. Also a few years old.

or if you are willing to spend some money get either Doom III or HL 2
those are the best two games that have come out in the last couple of years for any system

I played AVP2 for a while. It had a great multiplayer games.

Best Online action Game: Unreal Tournament 2004

Best Looking shoot�em�up game: Half Life 2.

Best Strategies: Warhammer: Dawn of War / Star Craft.

Best War Game: Ghost Recon. (I just read that they are not releasing Ghost Recon 2 out for pc. They have already gone into GR3 development. Apparently GR2 wasn�t that great & they don�t want to put the effort into releasing in on PC. GR3 is to have a major upgrade)

Get Jedi Knight, that game was soooo much fun! Or age of empires. Those are 2 bargin bin kind of games that were great fun.

The Doom series, the Quake series and the Half-Life series for me. Oh, and I'll throw GTA3-San And. in there as well, but that's just me. As far as classic games go, Commander Keen takes the cake.

Half-Life 2 is ridiculously sick...awesome graphics. But if you just like pure senseless violence and destruction with every kind of weapon you could think of, go for The Punisher...One of my favorite PC games. It's fuckin sick, everyone should try it.

Well... Doom3 had good graphic but otherwise it sucked.
Half-life2 was great but in the end you didnt know much more about the storyline than you did at the begining..pissed me of such a obscure ending.
Far cry was the best recently, good story, great graphics, awesome physics.
